Here is a try of a photo
Seven yards slow fire the first target!!!!!!!!!
Meprolight night sights are on the way, should be here on the 18th. Found a Desantis paddle The Jackal Paddle holster, a Bianchi No.5 belt slide on the way. I have a Desantis IWB called the Insider that is way too low...
sw99 smoothes out
Trigger is getting smoother only after a few hundred rounds. I tried the curved pinkie rest vs. the flat mags and both are easy to use. the curved ones feel more secure while holding onto the gun, but with a good two-hand hold the flat ones work well also.
I've still been...
Just got an SW99 compact for off-duty use. My regular duty weapon is an HK USP .45f in a Bianchi Accumold Elite rig. I have been carrying the USP off duty, but during warm weather (summer) it has been nearly impossible sans geeky fanny pack.
I had been looking at an HK P2000sk, but I have yet...
where did you see it?
I've been waiting for our Scheels store to get them in, where are you located.
After much research, I think the Walther is the way to go for a 10-shot 9mm in compact size.
I will be getting a walther p99 compact as soon as they are available locally. (i'll be trading in some unused stuff) This pistol will be for off-duty carry. My duty weapon is a USP .45f with 230 grain gold dots. Dept. provides all ammo for primary, but ammo for secondary and BUG is officer...
Do the Meprolight sights for the Walther P99 (compact) have the same goofy wide space on the rear sight as the stock sights? I'm hoping the folks at Mep. didn't go the goofy route.
Planning on getting a Walther P99c when they finally show up here in Sioux City. I would like to have the same...
More holsters
I did some searching, and it looks like Blackhawk makes at CQC Removable belt slide. It is for the standard p99 but is cut short enough for the compact.
Another is the Yaqui belt slide from G&G. Question, do these type of holsters get the gun close enough to the body, and what...
Any synthetic holsters
I really like the Galco FX7 or F7X holster that they make for the mini glocks. I e-mailed the company requesting a holster for the P99c, have not heard from them. Any other QUALITY kydex or uber-synthetic holsters out there?
I have a Safarilaminate pancake for my USP...
decided in the p99c
I have decided on the P99c. I called the Sioux City Scheels today, and the gun guy said the Walther p99c won't make it to their store until after the first of the year (translation = two months). He did had an SW99 compact in 9mm, which would be OK. I want the 9mm because I...
here is the challenge of the day: anyone here have both the hk p2000sk and the new Walther p99c? How bout a photo of them next to each other to compare size and ergonomics.
How about a Photoshop genius here getting proportionally sized photos side-by-side?
I am in need of a new 10-shot 9mm...
p2000sk
i'd add the hk p2000sk to the list. oh yeah, they were supposed to come out in 2004, but only a few hundred (if that) actually made it to the US market so far this year. I have yet to see one in person. also, even davidsons law enforcement hasn't gotten them so far.
It looks like...
on duty weapon is hk usp.45f. I am able to carry it off duty easier now that the temps are cooler. I have a safariland pancake holster and their black 1.5 inch belt, both in safarilaminate.
the big .45 is actually very easy to conceal under a black windbreaker or a light columbia canvas...
I was recently issued a new Colt Ar-15A3 tactical carbine from my department. Many of our officers use the Eotech sight, but I am not sold yet.
In the mean time, I would like to have at least a front nightsight. I have looked around and have narrowed it down to two: Meprolight night sights...
hk usp compact or p2000
I would add that the hk usp, usp compact or the p2000 would all be great choices in 9mm.
I have the uspf .45 and could not he happier. The usp 9f is very big, but the compact and p2000 are nicely sized. the p2000 will allow for different sized hands with back strap...
how bout Blazer Brass
I tried some Blazer Brass from Wal-Mart and 2 50-round boxes came out cheaper than the 100 round value pack in .45 acp.
The blazer seemed hotter and was more accurate then the win
I was thinking of getting a 10/22 all-weather model and then eventually making it into a fun gun with a heavy barrel and other good stuff. Please post pics of your favorite plinker.
Anyone know the dimensions (length, height, width and weight) between the two pistols in 9mm?
Also, any word on which will be generally available first?
I would have liked the P2000sk for summer carry, but HK seems to be experiencing a delay. I wish the company would give an accurate...
I have both!!!!!!
I have both, an 870 Wingmaster with a total of three barrels, two of them Hastings (a cantilever Paradox rifled slug and a Wadlock II upland barrel).
I also have grandpa's Model 37 featherweight. He put it to good use, but it is in about 85 percent condition.
The...
...the head.
There is an article on Page 82 titled "The Peoples' Pump" about NEF's Chinese-made shotgun. This article is such an obvious act of ^&*( it made me cringe.
My first thought, "Gee, that thing looks a lot like an 870." Nowhere in the article did it mention those magic three...
230 grain Speer Gold Dot, Federal Hydrashok or Winchester SXT.
All are excellent. The United States of America has perfected 230 grain .45 loadings. This is one thing we have gotten right.
