cheapest GOOD AR15 is a doublestar for $699
if you build the lower yourself you save $30.
Ive built a little over 50 AR15.........if i find a good used upper, ive built more than 5 ARs for just under $500 total....but thats not easy to do.
bushmaster doesnt make any part on their ARs...
century actually puts quality into their UPPER END guns. for example.
their YUGO RPK (a $700 gun), is superfine quality.....absolutely top notch A1, own one, seen many.....theyre all excellent and supernice....but of course......its a $700 bipod mounted RPK .
read EVERY report of their...
shot placement becomes decreasingly irrelavent when :
A: a lack of energy is transfered
B: a lack of surrounding tissue disruption occurs.....which is based upon A: mass of round (again, caliber), and B: diameter of round...and C: type of ammo (exotic HP vs. FMJ, etc etc).......and A, B...

One shot from a .22 at a couple of feet will kill a cow. One shot from a .50 at the same range will also kill a cow.
Its unfortunate you miss the ENTIRE POINT.......killing isnt the point, Sir, its AIT (average incapacitation time).
I can also kill a COW by sticking a...
most of “gun-people” confuse "stopping power" with AIT (average incapacitation time).
unfortunately, the sophistry the armchair gun-nut engages in believing, is that since, FACTUALLY SO, there are numberless variables which must be taken into account as regards 'stopping power'…..such as...
Any person on THIS THREAD or otherwise who thinks, “stopping power doesn’t exist” (really is meant AIT/Average incapacitation time)
......Such an ignorant person is EQUALLY DISPOSED to therefore believe that, given: same shot, same person, same conditions;......using a .22 LR has no less...
most of you on this post are DEAD WRONG. sorry :scrutiny:
most of “gun-people” confuse "stopping power" with AIT (average incapacitation time).
One can kill another with a properly placed BB, also and including giving enough time for bleed-out AND/OR shock to take place...
make sure your G21 has the new trigger bar
it would say 4256-1 if NEW......or just 4256 if the OLD one.
new trigger bar fixes reports of light primer strikes....especially on reloaded ammo.
new bar is FREE if you take your gun to a glock armourer.
...barrel
when its hot as heck outside, and wearing next to nothing, keeping one of these in your pocket is something to think about.
****After 45 shots, the ball and spring in the rod which holds the cylinder in, came out...lost in the grass.......but the gun would still shoot ok...
i heard another site call em "SPESHUL WEAPUNZ" :D
Special weapons must what the Guatamalan Speshul Forcez use :neener:
that was THE WORST TURD of a gun i ever owned, i still dream of choking the FFL that sold it to me.
go ahead and break it and then get an AR15, or an AK47 underfolder.......something reliable. :uhoh:
A: running same mags and ammo as AR15.......ergo no plus
B: far more expensive than Ar15............ergo no plus
C: parts more expensive and infinitely less available than...
youre right, glocks and kahrs are generally 'apples and oranges'
i should have said "kahrs better than packing a 'compact' glock ", ..such as a G26 or the G36 (which is a lemon).

Ohhhhh, DEAR LORD, ........you wont believe this....
the president of SPECIAL WEAPONS (Todd Bailey) has his own BB, and is using it to cuss to death the owner Todd Grove (Owner, Ohio Rapid Fire)
read this, i almost peed myself laughing :D :evil...
that link:http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff55501.htm
is HILLARIOUS
it seems the owner of Special Weapons has shafted everyone hes been in contact with. :scrutiny:
his guns ARE JUNK, no doubt about it, i owned one and got rid of it faster than greased lightning...
i have a C&R FFL myself too......:D

if Century mailed you a bad gun, send it...
oddly enough, i notice they STILL list a few (nasty looking) civilian models ...
I owned a SW52, which took AK mags...........
hey........let me say......THE MOST UNRELIABLE PIECE OF BOAT ANCHOR IVE EVER OWNED!!!!!
You couldnt get even 4 rounds to feed without a JAM from Hades.:evil...
the guns the Special weapons Company made, the HK clones etc, were never all that reliable....
however upon calling them and asking them about service etc.....a rep told me that in a few months (this was some time ago) id be unable to get anything from them....
the company SPECIAL...
youre all wrong, in fact :D
century outsources their builds......Century is in FL....however they have a 3rd party company in VT making the YUGO guns.......
theres also a few other places they outsource their "builds".
Ive seen lots of century crap....however ive also seen lots of...
over on the SIG 556 forum, the sig nuts themselves report its a junk gun.
theres another thread online which reports its a Jam O Matic clunker.
oddly, i found a large number of threads reporting owners finding out that the 556 is some of the worst junk ever brought to market.
ive...
it amazes me anyone is dumb enough to buy a WASR :scrutiny:
seen lots of them, and about 70% of them have SEVERELY canted sights.
+1 on the "melt that junk down" comment :D
WASR are complete trash, anyone that gets a bad one (is there a good one?) has no right to complain...
