Bad guys and bad guns

Dealing with Evidence guns I get to see just about everything and sometimes I get to see some odd or funny stuff.
Here is one I got today.

At first glance it looks ok, but the scope mounted backwards is interesting. What’s funny is there’s a laser and light mounted to the scope, pointing to the front



There’s a light mounted at the forward folding grip.


Like everyone else, when your light doesn’t fit tight in the mouth, jus wrap it with plastic.


And boy is this thing heavy.

But then the bad guy might not be well educated when it comes to putting things on an AR.

Now this guy put a shoelace to good use to hold the grip safety in place.


Words except me on this one . Or maybe Bubba Thug?

I called my local ATF contact and passed on the info on the gun and case number. Since it was a drug related case they picked it up. A lot of times they will not pick up a case unless there are other charges.

Bubba Thug cut the triggerguard off so that he could fold the grip, which made it an unregistered AOW.

I found this in an AR.

It's called a lightning Link, if I recoil right. It holds the disconnector to the rear and the gun will go full auto. they are not hard to make and I think you can still find unfinished one for sale. But once you fit one to a gun, you're looking at 10 years in club Fed.

I guess when your selling drugs for a living and shooting it out with your competition from time to time, an extra 10 years doesn't look so bad, until your caught.
