What's Your Favorite Revolver?

S&W Model 18-3. No pic, but I picked it up for a song, and find it to be well balanced, with a decent trigger, accurate, reliable and cheap to run. I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

That is like asking "Who is your favorite child?" But since we are limiting ourselves to DAs I will have to pick my S&W Model 27. She is only a few years old and has the cursed IL but I like how she points and she is smooth as glass.

Every revolver I own is my favorite, they just have different uses. I have .44's and .357's in all kinds of configuration.

When it comes to the ultimate favorite though that falls on the S&W K frames. Nothing fits my hand as well or has the balance of these guns.

I gotta go with my Security Six short barrel at this point:

I got it as a backup to the Speed Six, but I love the sights and trigger shoe so much I'm sticking with it for my main carry piece.

I have four Smithies. It is hard to say which one is the most favorite! LOL That said, however, I truly believe my S&W 38sp K-frame, pre-Model 14, Target Master is my favorite. It shot well for my Dad and it shoots equally well for me. Not to insult my other Smithies: also have Model 17 and Model 17-3 (K-frames) and finally have a Model 36 Chief's Special (J-frame) which is almost virgin. They are all wonderful firearms and exhibit the craftmanship embodied by S&W. :) Just love'em all!

I have two 3" model 65's. A standard model and a "Ladysmith" version. They're both my favorite! (...followed closely by a 2.5" Model 19.)

This one has to be at the top of my list.............

As others have said, "favorite" is a tough discriminator to nail down.

If I were limited to owning only one revolver (which might or might not be saying the same thing) out of my current line-up, it would be either a S&W Pro-60 or a Model 65 (both with 3" barrels).

Smith & Wesson 625-10 5" Bbl. .45 ACP / .45 Auto Rim
with Guy Hogue Rosewood finger grooves/checkered
It's been back to Springfield at S&W for the
Master Revolver Action Job. Nice Boomer at the range

I load up 10-12 full moon clips, and have 4 HKS speedloaders
have about 400 .rt Auto Rim 200 gr. SWC leadhead hardcast @ 1,000 FPS
doesn't wear on yah like a Magnum.

In the '70s I had a 25 6 1/2" in .45 ACP/AR and always missed it.
and a .45 revolver is a good companion piece to a/my 1911.

It's my only revolver. So, yeah, I have a lot to learn, but it's not only my favorite wheelgun, but my favorite gun overall. So far.

This bad boy SHOOTS! I cleaned up the internals and put in some aftermarket springs. Big difference. It's a keeper.

It's not my Model 19 or my Model 29..........it's my most practical revolver that I carry, my Model 36.........saved my arse twice.
