Being able to carry felt weird to me at first, but it was a good weird. After years of being able to carry, the only weird feeling I get is if I am not carrying. This doesn't happen often, but you kinda feel naked. Enjoy your right to carry and don't leave home without it.
I bought one a few years back, thought it was the coolest. Wrong, they do create a noticible bulge and aren't very comfortable when seated. You can wear pleated or baggy pants to help lessen the bulge but you can't make it less uncomfortable to carry. Needless to say it has been retired.
Thanks for all y'alls input. I bought a pair of Muck, Woody Max boots before Christmas. They kept my feet warm and dry while deer hunting this past week. I'd recommend them to any one who wants a good warm, waterproof boot.
I bought a S&W bodyguard for my wife a few years ago. I found it to be a dependable weapon and easy to carry. I carry it myself, especially in summer when concealment is harder. You won't be disappointed with the Smith.
May our God, The God who surpasses all understanding, be with The Silent One and his family. May he use his healing hands to bring our brother back to health. May his compassion be with the family of The Silent One, to strenghten and comfort them in this time of need.
jeffm223, i do not want to start an argument but pitbulls have been known to severly injure and even kill people. I dont carry pepper spray, I carry a pistol. We were in our yard minding our own business when this dog charges across my yard pulling its owner behind it. I did not draw my weapon...
My neighbors have a new dog, a pit bull. Yesterday as my son and I were walking down the sidewalk to the truck, we heard barking and growling in the neighbor's yard. I looked over and there was this dog charging us with his owner in tow. She's a small woman and could not slow the dog down. We...

I dont know the answer to your question but, I keep a loaded 357 in my dresser drawer at all times. My 19 and 17 yr. olds both know where it is and know how to use it. They know to protect themselves when we are out and I fully expect them to do so. I rather wind up in court than my kids wind up...
I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II in 45 for my ccw. I am very satisfied with its performance. Its a very accurate weapon and has had no failures of any kind in the hundreds of rounds that have been fired through it. I would recommend Kimber to any one.
here in va. our permit is drivers license size. If I were you I would neatly fold my permit and place it in a wallet type folder like they use for hunting licenses. Its compact enough to fit in your wallet and is protected from wallet wear.
After a ten year hiatus I'm getting back into hunting. I am looking for a pair of boots that are warm and waterproof. Some of our deer stands are in a swampy area so I need something dependable. I've heard Muck boots are pretty good. How many of y'all hunters use them. Thanks for your help.
I remember when Jon-Erik Hexum killed himself with a prop gun. I believe it was a 44 mag. loaded with blanks. He put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger. Guess he figured the blanks would cause him no harm. Unfortunately he figured wrong. Some people have no idea.
I dont know if Va. law prohibits carrying in banks or if its just bank policy. I dont see anyone at the door frisking people entering the bank, but I do leave my weapon in my vehicle when going inside. Of course, like Defense Minister says, I would prefer to carry my weapon. Bank = Money...
After I first got my ccp, my wife and I went to our local bank to take care of business. We went in with my 45 under my coat, conducted our business and left. Once we were outside my wife asked me if I had seen the "no firearms allowed on premises" sign on the door. I told her no, I had not seen...
