Wow Agtman, you have the high hand of the day, two aces with a double tap of kings. Nice!

I submit a "full house" for consideration.
Its going to be a nice weekend.. boom! Ive already tried the longshot and the A#9, love them both. Now for the 800x and the 4756!!

Thanks, Pentrite, and you're set up nicely for the weekend. Enjoy ...

That reminds me, though, I need to find more AA #7 ...
... so I can make a batch of the loads this one prefers.

I was perhaps exaggerating about "the next county." My Kimber is tuned (properly) to my pet load. I think a 22# recoil spring is overkill. To much force upon return to battery. A properly fitted flat firing pin stop and a 20# variable recoil spring, with an over power firing pin spring. That makes my Eclipse run "like a top." This is with FULL HOUSE 200gr hard cast over AA#9. It still throws brass further than more common calibers.
I'm just tired of chasing brass. I made a pretty slick bass catcher, works real nice. But, that makes for static shooting...boring. I'm going back to .357 mag, since I already load for it too. For me, either of these cartridges only sees use for range and "woods." I am trying to simplify. This would get me down to only two calibers to stock for.
All that said...10mm is awesome! It'll do almost anything a .357 will do, with less recoil.

Walked into my FFL to pick up a new rifle I had transferred when I spotted a 1006 in the case under consignment. We dickered back and forth a bit and I got the gun, an extra mag, and a pair of hogues plus a free transfer for $600 out the door. Seemed worthwhile so I got it.

If that S&W 1006 is in excellent condition, which is what it appears to be in your pic, man, $600 OTD is a STEAL.

Congrats on the find, Eaglestroker.

That it is! I wasn't looking for one but that's usually when the better deals are found. Seems to be a few hundred under 'going rate' of online prices so it makes the purchase all the better!

gotta share guys thanks to BDS I was able to load my first box of 50 10mm for $5.26 :what::what::what::eek: yep plated bullets rock :D:D:D:D this is why if you own a 10mm you should reload and this waas with my awesomenew starline brass

Alright guys I know I said I'd put up a pic of my Glock so here it is with a buddies light attached

I used that more than anything for my 10mm loads in my Delta as well. Believe it was 11.5 gr atop a 170 gr HP for ~1200 fps, IIRC-one of my favorites. I'd have to look it up to be sure.

if you don't mind my asking, what kind of chamber pressure were you getting out of that load?
I'm not saying this to be rude, but how would anyone know what their chamber pressure is with a given load? Each load will be different and without test equipment there is no way to tell.

I agree.

I load hot 10mm loads, but have no idea on chamber pressures

I simply load "known" hot recipes and have not seen any physical signs of overpressure. This is not an exact science, but it is all we have.

I've never actually heard of any of us "regular" guys who have any test equipment, which is why I asked the question. It would seem to be expensive and to no purpose.
