if you don't mind my asking, what kind of chamber pressure were you getting out of that load?
No idea on paper, but not enough to mar the cases at all. As I said, it was one of my favorite loads, and with my Delta, I reloaded my cases, mostly PMC, quite a few times. The ones I didn't reload were those that found their way into the next county, as I never did have a brass-catcher.

I'll join up, I've got a Glock 20sf :)

I love the pic there big shrek

Thanks, it came with 5 mags...guy bought it, got extra mags since they were in stock,
took it to the range...and came back & traded it in on a .40 Short & Wimpy version ;)
I looked him over and thought, "well no wonder dummy, yer a 5'9 bantamweight!!"
After he left, I bought it from the dealer, and it was a good deal :D

Just wait 'till I get the 9" barrel in & take some pics...that's my Hog Pistol for next season :D

Trying to get the Lone Wolf Custom Shop to make a Longslide for the 9" barrel...
its definitely taking some convincing...it may become an issue of throw money at it until they say yes...

a 9 inch longslide wow :what::what::what: I wonder what kind of velocity you could get
The general rule is 100 FPS for every inch of barrel. I have a Javelina which is pictured somewhere in this thread. It has a 7-inch barrel, but I haven't chrono'd it so I can't tell you for sure.

havok does it run alright I heard they were notorious for not being able to function properly

Mine runs perfectly. I had an issue with some BVAC ammo/bulged cases awhile back, but no problems with the gun itself. I DO have problems with my AMT Automag III, which jams every few rounds or so but has a 6.5 inch barrel instead of the Javelina's 7".

A Grand Power in 10mm. Now that is interesting. Wish the K2 had been imported in 10mm, then again I never have high hopes for anything that has to do with EAA.

Yes, wouldn't want to deal with EAA either, although they're just the importer for the Tanfoglio-made Witnesses. That said, the 45acp K2s I've handle recently, which are made in Turkey by Sarsilmaz, looked to be well-built, sturdy guns. They're also large and heavy double-stack DA/SA pistols, but they exuded a quality feel which made me think that a K2 in 10mm could actually be a successfully-engineered example of a "CZ-pattern" pistol that 10mm fans have been waiting for since D&D filed bankruptcy in 1987. :scrutiny: Maybe at some point, if U.S. 10mm fans sent enough emails to Sarsilmaz, they'd tell EAA to accept the 10mm K2s for import or they'll find someone else to do it. We'll see, I guess, and as well with Grand Power's 10mm variant, a Slovakian product.

Had a 1006 long ago. Finally got back into the 10mm game last night; picked up a Gen 3 Glock 20.

Congrats on the G20.
I still shoot my 1006, although less frequently than I'd like due to lack of time generally and then spending what range-time I can squeeze in with my G29 or a rifle of some sort. Old pic of mine ... Got rid of the Hogues way back for the S&W factory "palm-swell" grips (made for the 1076/1026 models). The Hogues were okay, but over time I found them to be a little too girthy.

I too have handled the K2s and liked the feel and look. There were rumours floating around that it was actually Tanfoglio that put the kibosh on EAA bringing over the 10mm K2s.

I have a 9x19 Grand Power and like it tremoundously. Great trigger, and one of the smoothest recoiling 9mms I have. Also very accurate.

Well, my thought on the 10mm K2s, initially, was that EAA might be prevented, by some sort of "non-compete" clause in their import or licensing agreement w/ Tanfoglio, from bringing in pistols "substantially similar" to the 10mm Witness-line, but obviously that hasn't stopped EAA from importing the .45 K2s that now compete for market share with the .45 Witnesses ... So, there must be another reason.

Since you've got a GP 9mm, what's your view on the probable mag capacity of a scaled-up 10mm model? 12-15rds?

We should organize a call campaign bugging EAA until they bring the 10mm over. Call them up and ask for Paul. If enough of us call, maybe they'll change their minds.

I don't know about the capacity, but 12 to 15 rounds sounds about right.

Of more interest to me regarding the Grand Power is that it looks like they'll be making a 40 S&W and 357 SIG on the 10mm sized gun. 40 S&W loaded long is 10mm with stronger cheaper brass. 357 SIG loaded to 10mm length is a lot of fun too.

Ah, a CZ-pattern 10mm??

There is one that is conspicuously absent from this thread...
more than likely due to its rarity...the Star Megastar in 10mm...

Its one of my Bucket List guns...
