.22 for defense/house gun. who has one?

If people suddenly stop when they see a gun, why don't the police use just .22s? Or what if someone attacks you with a gun? Don't use one unless it's the best you have.

I have no problem at all using a 22rf for home defense, regular carry etc. I don't want to get shot with one and I don't know a single person who does.

For years I kept my Ruger Single Six 22 loaded with hollow point mags at my bedside. It's what I had and I can shoot it accurately. Was it my first choice? No way. But it was what I had. Now I keep my Bersa Thunder 45 with a spare mag, my SW 642 AND my Ruger in the drawer under my bed by my head.

If it's what you have, it's better than a steel pipe. You can hit the BG from a distance. Keep the pipe for if and when he gets close enough that you are hand to hand.

As for Boba Fett and Logos, why don't you take your personal attacks elsewhere so we don't have to "listen" to your drivel while seeing what others have to say regarding the answer to the actual question.

Screw those 230 grain 45s. I got a 3 pound rock.

Ah yes, the 21000 grain rock is quite effective with proper placement, but carrying extra ammo is a real burden.
