I think I narrowed my choice down to these. If you choose other, please let me know what and why.

Also I want to stay under $400

I have a Ruger LCP for sale.

I have a Desantis Nemesis and an Uncle Mikes to go with it.

I own 2 of what you listed, and have shot all of those at one time, but all but one those I didn't care for the trigger. The Taurus TCP had the best of those listed, IMO. Two you did not list, which I have, the Sig P238, & Kahr P380 IMO have better triggers than any of those, not to mention better sights also. LM

None of the above. Sig 238.

Why? Shootability. The 238 SA trigger is much, much better than the DA triggers of the other guns you list above. The heavier frame of the 238 soaks up recoil better than the other guns you list above. The real sights of the 238 help you hit your target.

I have a LCP and a 238. With my LCP, my effective range is very limited. With my 238, I can shoot almost as well as I can with a full size.

To me, the 238 was a freakin' revelation compared to my LCP, and completely redefined what I thought a pocket pistol could do.

How much are the P238 going for these days new?

$400 is my max BUT I may be able to go up to 425.

SIG is my choice, either the delayed blowback P232 or the smaller tilting barrel P238. Little P238 has less felt recoil and muzzle rise than most mouseguns. Accurate and trustworthy if you put the recoil spring in the right direction, or get the new flat coil spring. Both have worked perfectly, but the P238 has tritium night sights, a plus on a carry pistol.

Why do I keep reading that all 238's have night sights? Mine sure as hell doesn't. Did I get ripped off? Lol

Bersa thunder 380, out of yor choices I chose the bodyguard because I've shot a large portion of the list and the bg380 has the best finish and features out of thebunch, but one to be added is the bersa thunder 380

Eh. The Bersa isn't pocket sized. It's not really in the same class as the others. Yeah, it's a great gun (I own one), but it's just not something you can slip in your pocket and forget about.

If we're going to bring in the Bersa, then we have to bring in the lighter, softer recoiling PK380, the gun I'm convinced was designed to be the perfect "full size" gun for a smaller woman.

That site is cool ..... $399 for the Nitron W/night sites.....lowest I had seen was $425

Good deal ...... nice gun! I like the Taurus TCP too! But these Sig 238's are awesome... I think because it is basically a "new model Colt Mustang" I want one in every color!

One for every day of the week....then some! :)

I am pleased with my Kel-Tec PF-9, so I'd probably go with the P3-AT from your list. However, I am kind of an "underdog" guy.. I like how the Diamondback DB380 looks and, if it worked well, I'd get it.

Bersa Thunder .380 for me too, It can be pocket carried, its all steel so you have a little less felt recoil, and if you needed, you can pistol whip an assailant with it as well, it has a wicked trigger guard for that.

I voted for the S&W because of the sights (it has pretty decent sights), don't really care for the laser, but that's the only way they come.

I have a Ruger LCP, & it shoots really great, considering it's size & rudimentary sights, functions 100%, too. But still, I would like better sights.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the S&W has a working slide-lock, too.

I did'nt see it up there but my Kahr P380 has exceeded all of my expectations for a gun it's size. Very accurate, 100% reliability, very light and IMO - nice looking. I carry it with CCI Blazers which takes about an ounce off brass cased ammo. It's the one gun I carry out of many that I carry a spare mag for every day. The mags are so light and small there is no reason not to. Some pockets allow me to carry it with a Pearce extension, some don't. I have the extension on one and not on the other. I even carry it in my back pocket with some pants and it hides very well with my ass or lack there of.

My Ruger LCP has functioned flawlessly since day 1. Reliably shoots and functions with anything I've fed it to date. OTOH, the trigger pull is on the long, strong side of obnoxious.

Of the .380's I voted other for the SIG---that said I would take the PM9 or R9 over any .380.
