Bombard the news media on pro-AWB Congresscritter Carolyn McCarthy abuse

I've sent 8 different emails to various main stream news outlets in print, internet and broadcast media.

None of the rightwing news folks need our emails.

None of our congresscritters need our emails.

We need to get enough attention from the primary news sources that reach the vast majority of Americans. The main-stream media needs to pick this story up so that the folks that aren't knowledgable on the AWB issue hear that McCarthy is some ghoul that exagerates body counts and lies about what was used in the murders to advance her political agenda. Discredit her.
 
I dunno Bogie, if we could get someone like Frankin or Lenno or ...making fun of her "old enough to buy a gun, but too old to remember how many people were killed" it could get a lot of legs under it.

Yes, everyone can see it.

In a day or two we'll have made all the impact we're going to have. McCarthy will either have gotten some negative press for bathing in the blood of the murderd and she'll have the numbers changed on her site or we won't have gotten enough members to interest enough news outlets to act. Regardless, we'll have made our effort and seen the results and interest in the thread will fall off. It would be a pitty to have all the work everyone has done fall down the page in a few days and out of most people's memories in a week. All these contacts at the various news outlets all of you have dug up should be saved for future reference.

Perhaps we'll add the post to the THR Library where everyone will be able to find the information for future press blitz efforts.
 
Unfortunately there were only four victims killed, and a few others hospitalized. Thankfully there were NOT 10 killed as she states.
It is sad Congresswoman feels she needs to inflate a death count by more than two fold to suit her agenda or justify her work.

Good one, Justin, but if it hasn't been suggested already, you might want to reword the first sentence a little. It's unfortunate that the guy shot anyone, and reprehensible that Madame Congresscritter is using the tragedy to push her agenda, but someone could possibly misunderstand what you meant by that.
Of course we all know what you're saying, but otherwise, the only way "unfortunately" and "only" would really go together is for some politician (or maybe a reporter) who might be hoping for more shock value. Maybe delete the only, and emphasize four? :scrutiny:
The above is just one nitpick for an otherwise well-written answer.
