Grizz22,
You are right about the practice. I was practicing my draw last night and I am becoming more comfortable.
I really don't have much of a problem with the Ruger P-95 as it has an ambidextrous safety. It's starting to become one fluid motion. I can locate it without much thought. With it I can actually disengage the right hand safety lever with my index finger as I am reaching down for the weapon before clearing the holster. Further practice should make it become second nature.
The Bersa Thunder isn't as easy because it only has a small left hand safety lever. Being a new gun it was quite stiff when I got it. Even so, it seems to be loosening up the more I use it.
