I own more than one. I really don't have an interest in spending money on firearms that do not have some real use or significance or on impulse purchases. I am a true penny pincher. Boy do they scream.

Two of my firearms were "won": one in a drawing and the other in a match. I didn't intend to acquire either.

I am included in the "one or more" category.

Not to be rude, but why do some of you feel so uncomfortable discussing how many guns you own, but you have no problem contributing to a gun forum?

Since when is asking how many guns you own (on a gun forum) a personal question? Isn't that why we are all here, to talk about guns and gun related issues?

Like I said, I don't mean to ruffle feathers, just curious.

Hoo-ha!

not to make gezzer crap himself, but im only 16 and i already own "more than one"

1 is even classified as an "assault weapon"!
and its legal here!
doesnt that make yer blood boil? i proudly clicked "Yes".

and i bet poor gezzer has never even fired a gun

The reason I asked was when I started coming to THR, I didn't own a firearm. Now I do.

Unfortunately...

I had to vote no. I'm saving up for my first now though :D

YO! Agent Schmuckatelli! Long time no see. We've missed you. :)

Glad to see your IQ hasn't gone up much since the last time you were here. :p

Updating the ole Database I see. Phishing - ain't the internet great?

I had a few

But who knows how many I have now... thoes things multiply faster than rabbits.

Stupid question, perhaps? I think the largest segment of the membership that do not own guns are underage and WANT guns. I think this would be a more relevant question. I know when I was underaged, I wanted them.

Of course, I live in Texas. The "average" Texas family reportedly has four.

Ditto.

Of course, I heard that average figure in the immediate aftermath of Waco (as in "So, they had 200 guns in the 'compound,' so what - there were 50 adults or so there and its Texas"). One would hope that in the intervening years we'd have bumped the average up somewhat. If this is true, we're turning into a state of limp-wristed slackers.

I think that people don't mind saying that they own 1 or more (for the most part). Unless underage or a DC/NYC/Chicago resident, I'd bet that everyone has 1 or more. It is when you ask people to be specific about a number, or about specific types that the hair on the back of the neck begins to stand up...because this info is open to anyone who wants to look. "One or more" is about as non-specific as one can get.

I do like the response "More than I can carry and less than I want.":what:
