I checked NO to both, but I wouldn't be opposed to night sights or a laser on my carry weapons.

My primary carry in warm weather is a S&W 637 Airweight .38spl revolver. I do not have a laser on it, but if I could afford it right now, I would get the Crimson Trace laser grips for it.

In colder weather, I still carry the S&W 637 a lot, but I also add a 1911, an XD9, and a S&W 5903 to the mix. None of them has a laser. The S&W 5903 does have night sights, because it was a former police sidearm. If I could afford it right now, I'd get Trijcon sights for the XD.

Having read every post above I KNOW I'm gonna get Blasted for saying this but I would NOT give you a nickle for a truckload of laser OR night sights. Like D.R. Middlebrooks I would prefer my XD45 Compact to have NO SIGHTS at all. As my CCW instructer stated - in a real gunfight your fine motor skills go out the window and you will not even see your sights when you start shooting.
While I have not been and do not want to be in a gunfight I will state my experience with a Sow with cubs that charged me in Kodiak Alaska. It was a blur. Her speed was unbelieveable - It happened so fast that I do not remember bringing up the sawed off pump shotgun, taking off the safety, pointing and firing when she stopped and turned about 6 FEET away. As she sped by me I could have reached out and slapped her on the rump. It was almost dark. I just remember her being so close and the muzzle flash big time as the shotgun fired in my hands without any conscious effort on my part. It was just pure muscle reaction for lack of a better way to explain it. TALKING scenarios is one thing - reacting to a life/death situation is another. I intend to practice and would like to get so proficient that at 25 feet or less I could place 5 quick shots into a pie pan without using any sights since like I said - in a REAL firefight you will not have time to use your sights. Just MHO.
This is going to take a lot of practice with a lot of ammo. :D Send Money! :D

Standard sights on all my guns they work fine in daylight. When it gets dark I turn on the streamlight that I allways have on me or in my truck.

No night sights for any of my primary CCW-not opposed to 'em, but I can pick up the 3 white dots better during the day. I'll probably get 'em eventually?

Got a LaserMax on my two primary CCW-XD40SC and SIG P229R/357 SIG (howzat sentence for an alphabet soup?) :D
Got a USPC40 that I had originally planned on CCing a bit (like the variant 1 options/safety factor), but since LaserMax doesn't make a unit for it, I often end up carrying the SIG instead.

I do have Insight lights for all of my guns, but the one by the bed is the only one that has one attached at all times.
I usually tote one during cold weather in my winter coat.

Are hi-viz night sights?

My 340 has night sights and a laser.
My 325 has fiber optic sights (Night sights?) and a laser.
My XD45 has neither (but lot's more ammo).

I carried a Glock 21 with night sights adn a crimson trace untill a couple months ago. now my primary carry is a Colt 1991 45 and it doesnt have night sights or a laser but both those will be getting put on soon. i miss my laser most of all.

I have a set of meprolights on my Kimber, which will be my primary carry assuming my permit ever comes in... My other handgun, a Sig Sauer, wears a set of trijicons but it's doubtful I'll ever carry it.

Neither has a laser on it, just never really saw the point of having one. But I can be persuaded.

Nights on the G34 and P239, laser on the carry...

I voted "Other" because I have Night Sights and Laser Grips on my off duty concealed carry gun.

FYI: It's a High Power .40 S&W caliber with Trijicon Yellow/Green Night Sight combo and Crimson Trace Laser Grips. It works well for me. The White Light is a Surefire in the support hand. :)

My primary CCW gun has night sights, but I really wish it didn't. I'll get around to replacing them sometime.

I find the laser helps when you need to watch the threat. It gives you a visual indication without having to take your eyes off the target. This is an advantage in low light conditions, which most gunfights happen in.

It's really important that you concentrate on the target's hands. Is that a wallet, cell phone or a gun in his hand? If you can see the laser dot you can be quicker. If it's too bright and sunny to see the laser you are no worse off than the previous centuries of armed conflict, by just using the sights.

If you "guess" wrong as to what is in the subject's hands you may become the "Bride of Mongo". I'm not saying that this can't happen with a laser as well, but it does help to reduce that possibilty by allowing you to focus more of your attention on the threat.

I don't and won't ever carry a handgun with a laser. I don't like things I consider "gimmicks".

The Glock 19 I carry frequently has night sights. I don't see any harm in them. Certainly they'll be there when I need them, without reference to any sort of power supply.

If I ever get better sights for my M1911 and Glock 22, they'll be night sights.

I carry a Walther PPK/S and wouldn't want to muck it up with either night sights or a laser aid. After more than 40 years, the gun is intuitive -- as much an extension of my hand as any pistol I've ever worked with. Being comfortable with your carry piece and practicing with it regularly are far more inportant, in my view, than using lasers and night sights and the like. I understand that not everyone would agree; but it works for me, and has for a lot of years.

When did CTC start making lasers for the large frame Glocks (.45/10mm) and where did you find yours? I've been casually looking to fit one to my G21.

I have CTC lasergrips on my 1911 and on my G22 that I use as training aids. I can dry fire both at home and see how trigger pull affects muzzle control. Without using any ammo (hard to find these days) I've reduced my group size about a half inch and the first shot from the Glock is now in the shot group instead of off to left by itself.

All my handguns have night sights, as soon as purchase a new handgun that is the first upgrade I make. Not sold on lasers yet.
