Can you imagine the mad rush by the fanboys when the 'FBI Model' hits the civilian market, LOL. Every Tactical Ninja will have to have one or two.
Cops like Glocks as they are simple, just point and pull. Wonder if they will have the narrower slide like the 41 ?
With all the ladies now in the ranks, they had to reduce the recoil so they could handle them, thus the 9mm. Also bigger mag capacities so they can spray and pray.
I wouldn't object to Glock eliminating finger grooves which were first added simply to gain enough points for the small G26/27 pistols to qualify for importation.
Since Glock now produces pistols here in the U.S. the finger grooves are superfluous.
When I was a LEO spray and pray was exactly what we were taught. Just pull your gun and empty it as fast as you can. In fact, we didn't bother using targets in our range as hitting what we were shooting at didn't matter. We were scored exclusively on how fast we emptied the magazine.Cops like Glocks as they are simple, just point and pull. Wonder if they will have the narrower slide like the 41 ?

Will the FBIs new Glocks have the NYPDs 12 pound trigger?
96.3% of Gen 5 Glock 19s throw brass in a boomerang pattern which then inevitably impedes the follow-up shot's flight trajectory. Serious issue which only the immediate replacement of all MIM will solve.
Just putting this out there so when they release the next Glock, I can say that I was first on the Internet to warn everyone of their impending Glock doom.
I agree with rskent, and like the finger grooves. The gun just feels more secure in my hand.
As to the FBI selection, they have chosen wisely.
