Okay, so can one of you Facebook experts assist me with trying to deal with these anti-gun activists? I also got a notification (just now) that I was banned from Facebook for the next 12 hours because of a post I made in reference to that "Lana" person's comments.
Seems rather ridiculous that we're all getting blocked for disagreeing with her. Obviously she's working the system somehow.
This was my "offending" post, by the way:
"Lana, with all due respect, please explain how an anti-gun policy will prevent a deranged criminal from walking into a Starbucks store with a gun and the intention to do someone harm? The only thing that such an asinine policy would accomplish would be to disarm the law-abiding citizens who mean you no harm in the first place; the same folks who might actually be able to stop the threat posed by such an evil person.
Starbucks has made a smart decision by choosing to follow local laws. Being a gun owner doesn't make me (or anyone else) a fanatic by itself, and our patronage of Starbucks is not nearly as insignificant as you suggest (we exist in far larger numbers than you give us credit for)."
Oh, and this is the post by "Lana" that I responded to, which seems to be the one that is getting all of us blocked:
QUOTE: "Guns with my coffee?- NO thanks! I will not be patronizing your stores - nor will my family and friends - until I and my children can enjoy our drinks in safety and without having to look at deadly weapons. PS there are plenty of other business that do very well with a gun free policy. Buffalo wild Wings, Home Depot, Applebees, Costco. The loss of only a few fanatical gun owners business won't hurt your bottom line - but losing Moms will "
I think my post was a lot less demeaning than hers. As such, I reported her post as abusive, and would suggest that some of you do the same.
