they are neat, they are accurate, and they are relible, easy to shoot no muzzle flip to speak of, they are pretty loud but who cares right? the things i don't like about them is the fact that they are so expensive, and that the ammo is so expensive. but with a 20round mag that is always a bonus. my buddy has one and it is neat and fun but i wouldn't buy one.

XCarrywhat you are comfortable an dcompetent with ; the rest is all just so much BS...if a prosecutor railroaded me for an justifiable SD situation; I WOULD be guilty of something evil....at a later date.
Call me veangeful,I really don't care. I value ALL human life, especially mine.Threaten that and the rules change. Wrongly convict me , and if I am still alive ;I will spend the rest of my days finding the best way to assist Karma.....

Jason_G You have so little concept and knowledge of ballistics you should be held up as an example for all the net to be laughed at. Go sit back in your arm chair, Commando!

Okay guy. Lemme go put my internet combat boots up

I was then told about how of you shoot monkeys with the 5.7 they burst into flames. I asked them, whether they were sure that was true, and they swore that it was. How does this stuff get started?
Well, I've not had the opportunity yet to shoot any monkeys with my Five-Seven, but I did shoot a pig with it once, and the pig flew. :D

Not Too Late To Get On Board the FN 5.7 Train

First of all I will mute those who consider posting, "Why bring back this thread after 7 plus years ? "by answering for the sake of expanding empirical knowledge along the HIGH ROADS of cordial discussion in the firearms community. Although the opposing views of the terminal effects of hydrostatic shock from a 5.7 caliber round from a pistol led to a contentious atmosphere, the amended links to other sources was quite informative, for all who read the reports. Such is the path of judicious decision making while on the HIGH ROAD.
I would also encourage the author of post #73 to maintain the professional fortitude to continue to engage others in this community with his knowledge in order that those whose aim needs something like a parralax adjustment will see the light.

[/As one of the owners of EA I have to say something since I have never read SOMUCH incorrect BS on any forum anywhere about our ammunition.

Jason_G You have so little concept and knowledge of ballistics you should be held up as an example for all the net to be laughed at. Go sit back in your arm chair, Commando!

We are not in anyway loading our rounds over pressure.

Our ammo not only out performs 9mm it will match and surpass 230gr 45acp in both energy and wound cavity.

Do a search of youtube for Elite Ammunition.

We posted vidoes of our last testing session. Since I am sure we are lieing about it being 10% and 15% and really used 2% to make the test look good we tested every block with a airrifle in the upper left corner of each block and measured it to show the distance it traveld to very consistancy.

They are the perfect guns for personal and home protection. That is, the FiveSeven and the PS90.
The good:
Light, carry an enormous number of rounds, extremely dependable, very lightweight for the firepower contained, 30 rounds in a handgun and 50 rounds in a lightweight bull pup is sheer genious; backed by a technologically advanced firearms megagiant who will provide excellent support at all times;
The bad:
Arms are costly and ammo is costly
No real proof of someone reloading the ammo themselves
The master of arms of the PS90 is unusual enough that a bit of training is required before just handing someone the gun; the FiveSeven is ready to use in 5 minutes.
So, the net net is:
If you have the money and an hour of your time to forget what you know and realize that you are learning something all new, that it's not a joke and isn't time for fun, then it can be a huge success
You also have to be sure that you can buy and store a great deal of ammo (ten thousand rounds for two people with the guns as a starter) and multiples of that for others.
But that's it really. Just get the guns, secure the rounds with cash, train an experienced shooting team for an hour and you're good to go.

There was absolutely no reason to reopen this thread just to comment on a couple of post made five years ago by members who haven't even been active in two or more years. If you want to discuss 5.7x28mm pistols please find a more current thread or start a new one.
