For the past week, what was it?

There's something to be said for Gary's suggestion to buy enough of whatever round it is you choose, so you have enough to allow you to train and practice with it, and then carry it. Less worry about flavor or the month ammunition choices.
If nothing else I know that I have enough self-defense ammunition for at least two more years. Probably closer to three.

I don't have to worry about whether or not I'm going to be able to find it or if it's available at Sportsmans Warehouse next week

For the past week, what handgun bullet did you carry the most?
If you carried different handguns during the past week, the bullets in the handgun you carried the most.
If you carried two guns at once, the bullets in the primary handgun.

What handgun bullet did you bet your life on the most for the past week?

357 Sig 125 gr. Gold Dot
.38 PDX Defender. Whatever grain weight that is. (135?)

9mm Golddot hand loads about half the time and 380 critical defense the other half of the time.

By loading my own self defense ammo I can actually afford to take it out and practice with it some times and verify it still feeds in my carry pistols. But most of my practicing is done with 9mm fmj handloads.

Couldn't resist.

As always, the Speer 9mm 124-grain Gold Dot +P

I looked at the defense loads I currently have for my autoloaders. The 10mm is still in accuracy testing and I am getting comfortable with the guns. The 9mm loads are both good choices in my opinion. The 45acp combination allows for self defense and wilderness defense.

My 380acp loads are Federal Punch and Sig FMJs. I need to take @Armored farmer choice and look for those Cor-Bon loads.

40 S&W 165gr Remington BJHP pushed by 7.6gr Power Pistol with WSP primers. Velocity is 1150 FPS. I loaded a thousand in March of 2012 and am down to my last 50-60. I live in Texas and replace (shoot) my magazines empty a few times a year because of the heat/humidity we have here. Carry gun is a Glock 27 that has been at my side 20+ years.
