For the past week, what was it?

If I'm carrying one of several different autos that are in my edc inventory, including ones chambered in .380 ACP, 9mm Luger and .45 ACP, in the interest of extreme reliability and adequate penetration, they are usually loaded with hardball, conceding all of its offsetting disadvantages. For me, the plusses outweigh the minuses.

I purchased a load for Mrs WisBorn to try from the j frame 38s. I think the recoil recovery will be easier for her to get back on target.
The manual of arms of the revolver is easier for her to manage.

I made to the range today and shot a few of the Critical Defense Lite rounds through my 442. In addition I shot some Critical Defense 110 FTX and 125 XTP from Percision One.

The 90 grain were nice, and lower in recoil. I'm looking forward to getting Mrs WisBorn out to give them a try in the 637.

9mm carry ammo accuracy/function testing.
Today I ran 4 different loads through my Kimber R7 Mako and my Glock 19.
135 grain FTX Hornady Critical Duty
124 grain JHP Underwood
147 grain JHP Underwood
90 grain Xtreme Penetrator

I have been carrying the Hornady as my primary. I was happy to see all four loads functioned well in both firearms. 135 grain FTX were the most accurate in both pistols. Followed by the 124 & 147. The 90 grain are the least accurate in my pistols and were bad enough that they would not be carried at all.
