For the past week, what handgun bullet did you carry the most?
If you carried different handguns during the past week, the bullets in the handgun you carried the most.
If you carried two guns at once, the bullets in the primary handgun.

What handgun bullet did you bet your life on the most for the past week?

357 Sig 125 gr. Gold Dot

My standard ammo selection for working out of town every week of 2023 has been S&B .380 92 grn FMJ in my pocket pistol and S&B 9mm 115 grn JHP in my travel pistol. Last week was no different.

The pocket pistol is primary carry due to work conditions. The travel pistol is primarily for car and hotel.

115 gr. JHP 9MM Star bullet, my own load. Of times, 38 Sp. 125 gr. JHP Star also my load. The 9MM is a Sig P365 and the 38 is in a J frame Smith.

I've talked about the Pistol Forum list before.

When I first heard about it I decided on 9mm SGD. So I went and bought two cases.

This last time we bought, SGD wasn't available so we went to Winchester PDX but when we switched we bought a case of Winchester. we actually won't be switching to Winchester until 2025.

The point I'm trying to make is when I find a SD ammunition that I like I buy as much as I can afford.

There's something to be said for Gary's suggestion to buy enough of whatever round it is you choose, so you have enough to allow you to train and practice with it, and then carry it. Less worry about flavor or the month ammunition choices.
