Saber sells a big can of spray made for home defense. It’s a gel stream. Has a mount to hang on wall. While I’m not a big fan of gel. I still bought this for my sister and her husband.

This is a difficult position for a family member (brother) to be in when another family member (sister) has made the choice to not defend herself and has also made the choice not to learn how to defend herself. There have been numerous suggestions on how to make a home more secure, what has been accomplished, including mindset, since day 1 of this thread's posting? Does the sister possess the hand strength to work a pistol slide or DA revolver?

It's more than frustrating when loved ones don't have the mindset to prioritize, what others believe are common sense steps, to train in ways to defend oneself.

The Mrs and I are senior citizens, I have had extensive training in past years, and the Mrs doesn't have the mindset to take elementary, paid for CCW classes. She has purchased several handguns, including a .380 EZ Shield, to bring to CCW classes...even all women instructors. She's an excellent shot, including a G20, moderate 10mm handloads, and she picked up shooting in a short length of time...but she doesn't have the mindset to engage. What works for us is a pair of German Shepherds, male and female rescues, that I exercise on the ranch daily...in an Arizona border county. YMMV
