The part I am concerned about is in the upper picture. Look at the blued metal above the unblued steel of the bolt right above where firing pin can be seen inside the bolt. Notice how it has a curve to the metal. This is where the bolt locking block impacts the receiver.

What I don't know is if that bend happened from the 50 rounds of factory or the 11 rounds of reloads before I noticed it or if it was there all the time and I did not see it.

My path forward is to carefully document the bend by measuring the hole where the locking block fits in the receiver. I will then go and shoot some rounds (say another 25 or so) and then measure it again. If it is still expanding I will then probably assume the metal is soft and weakened and table shooting the gun anymore. If it does not continue to bend, I will assume that it was original to the gun (prior to me owning it) and monitor it carefully. The gun is nearly 100 years old so it is possible that modern factory ammo is too hot for it. I highly doubt it but it is possible.
