Check out imgur.com for storing your photos. Easy to do and none of those meddlesome ads to contend with

Well this cheap $300 HP note book has 4gigs of RAM, and a $40 back up USB drive with 40gigs of storage, I for one will never fill that up. I suppose cloud storage would be a good insurance policy against a catastrophic lose. BTW, the back up hard drive does have two failed computer hard drive files in it to date, so a back up is a good idea.

Is that a Pietta? I thought only Uberti ever made .44 Colt cylinders with full length flutes......? Maybe I was wrong? I seem to be making a near profession of that recently...
It's an ASM that was put together. I don't know who made the cylinder. it's a very smooth shooter.

I bought a new Pietta '62 Police Barrel there to use on a Pietta '51 Navy to make a '61 sheriffs (5 1/2").
As Pietta doesn't use the correct small frame for its Colt Pocket models.

dickydalton - I have an ASM 1860 with the 8" barrel that has a full fluted cylinder. If your cylinder works well in the ASM frame, it may well also be by ASM.
Tommygunn - Uberti also made 1861 repros with full fluted .36 caliber cylinders.

Mine isn't a Signature series, it's just a plain Uberti 1860 with full flutes. I do have a Pietta 1860 Civil War Commemorative that has crossed sabres on the barrel, and on a non engraved smooth cylinder.
Yours is a nice looking revolver.
Thank You, Sir. It's a Commemorative also. Did you notice the blued frame?

Great lines and symmetry with your new pistol! Both the metal work and the wood stock look to be first rate. Thanks for sharing.
