I am poor. It takes me more than 6 months to save up for a new pair of shoes. So if that is the criteria, I really don't have a "short list." Aside from finishing the guns I have, there are a few guns I have my eye on. I am thinking I'll probably have to wait until next tax season for my next new firearm purchase. This is fine because the gun on the top of the list isn't even projected by the manufacture to be available in this country until sometime next year. According to the CZ rep, the P-02 9mm is coming 2013 though

After that, I've had my eye on the Ruger Redhawk 4" .44 Mag for a while. And I would like to get another semi-auto rifle before our Congress-critters start banning the things again. Right now the SIG 556R and the CZ VZ58 go back and forth at the top of that heap. We'll see.

The first one I'm dreaming about is a "movie gun", the .45-110 that Tom Selleck used in "Quiglley Down Under".

Second would be a 30-06 bolt action. As I haven't actually looked for one yet, I don't have any make or model in mind - - - yet!
