How many of you would sell a handgun to an 18 year old?

I'd say it depended on two things: 1) if it were legal in the state in which I resided and 2) if I got a good "reading" on the guy. Even if legal, I would only sell to someone who didn't present any red flags. I know they say you can't judge a book by its cover, but all too often you can.

I don't know if there are any federal restrictions regarding age, but if there are, they're not constitutional. Even so, I wouldn't violate them because the feds are really getting to be jackbooted thugs these days.

Still illegal in my state for an 18 year old to possess, own or use a handgun so I'd still have to abstain from selling an 18 year old a handgun. Wasn't aware that the Federal restriction applied only to FFL transfers and now understand that to be the case.

I got the facts correct, you got them wrong. Live with it.

brickeyee,

While I can admit when I make an error or misunderstand something, it would appear that you are still having difficulty addressing the issues that cause you to express yourself like a horse's ass...

Oh well, at least you have your :fire:anger:fire: to keep you company when you are all alone....

Please stop the personal attacks--it IS doable to make clarifications without them. Though I've put in my 2 bits for the thread already, I'm curious to see where it goes--and down the toilet is not what I mean. If you must really argue a point about someone's internet posting habits, could you take it to PMs so the rest of us don't have one less interesting thread to read because you got it locked?

Thanks.

I just read your sig line Eightball and I must say.....this:

gezzer-"You do not want to fall down in a pasture of EMU's. They will eat you."

Made me laugh uncontrollably.......

Ditto by the way
