Not to mention the
bullet (projectile) may be slim, but capacity is determined by the
case diameter, which is not. Before you go designing guns for any military, start with the basics as I outlined earlier, and while you're at it, learn correct nomenclature. It is critical in this field.
At this point you are wasting
mental capacity at something you know just enough book knowledge of, but no actual experience at, to be dangerous. Either put in the time learning the whole of the science behind it, (Physics, ballistics, metallurgy, weapons design history, (to avoid all the pitfalls you keep roaring into blindly) propellant properties, proper nomenclature, etc. or quit while you are ahead. There are more than enough 'idea boys' in the firearms industry, what is needed are people who can envision something
and see it through every stage of development, such as John M. Browning or John C. Garand.
And when you get there, don't attach the scope directly to the barrel.
