Agreed, AR, 1911, but I'd get the alloy
frame, compact version, so that ccw under a T shirt was a viable option. It can always "wear" a longer slide, comped barrel, weighted stocks, grip extender, etc, for match shooting, hunting, and so on.
I tend to agree on the 2 pistols, rather than one rifle thing, but no blowback auto offers serious power. The Kahr PM9 9mm is but 15 ozs and 6" long, so it's a lot more "pocketable" than is a .38 snub. The other pistol would either be a belt gun or a used, steel framed version of the Kahr, so that I could practice a lot, without having lots of wear or fouling on the ccw pistol.
