I have found a Kel-Tec 9mm for $219 i really dont know if it is new or used. But it looks to be in good condition, it also comes with 2 magazines. Is this a fair price for this gun?

The price would depend on the slide and if is new or used. I bought my P-11 for $230.00 with a blue slide. If that gun is new than I would say $219.00 is pretty good!

The second mag is worth about $20 from the factory, and since it sounds like the price includes all transfer fees, etc., plus the KT warranty if you need for it to be "renewed", it sounds like a "good" price to me, even if it's used. You might find a used one cheaper, but you'll just be arguing about pennies.

$219 is good with that extra mag. I paid $214 for mine in September with only one mag. That price should be for a new one.

pretty fair price. I wouldn't expect to find one for much better.

I picked up one with blued slide, extra mag, and grip-extender floorplates on the mags for $210 at a gun show a couple of months ago.

It was "used" but I couldn't tell, even after stripping it down.

My guess is someone bought it then decided not to bother getting a carry license, and sold it.

$219. Buy it.

I paid $269(new) for mine. Well worth the money.

Drop safety

Just to inform, there are two threads at KTOG referring to P11 AD when dropped. The light hammer with it's long travel required for bullet ignition may not function as a safety device. Anyway, check these threads out especially before buying a P-11:

The gunsmith found this would happen at 6 ft with the stock FP spring if the gun was dropped cocked on it's muzzle. YZ guy's modified spring would go off at 3 feet. Not a real world concern but something to think about.

yzguy's modified spring had 7 coils cut off of it. He is going to test it with a stock spring next. I will be interested in seeing that report.

Yeah, I'll probably be getting to it this weekend. I'll post the results here to...

I have one with various accessories that I'll sell for $219. I've put one box of factory ammo through it. Discovered that I prefer my G26.

Just bought a new P-11!

It has a hard chromed slide and, with one magazine, was $270.00 NIB. Extra mags are $26.00 per issue. If the gun of which you speak is in good condition I think that $219.00 sounds like a great deal. Good shooting;)
