while the government may break the law, the mechanisms by which to hold them accountable remain in place. I read your post as claiming those mechanisms had been dissolved or mitigated by the previous administration (are we still blaming them for everything?).

Yeah, right! If the government was held accountable for their unlawful, immoral acts....there would be NO government left!

I can only presume this reached a third page because of the off-topic posts added. Otherwise, it's hard for me to see why such nonsense would warrant so much discussion as the idea is absurd at the surface and only gets worse when you think about it.
