Just picked up this Marlin 336RC a few weeks ago from a Pawn Shop for $350. It was made in '58 and has a Williams peep sight. I think I did alright:

Wow! Are you sure that's a '58 gun? Looks amazingly good for a 336RC that's over 50 years old! In any case, looks like a great buy.
