I have a NAA .22 that goes everywhere with me in a front pocket. I have the "holster grip" for it and it folds like a lock blade, yet is ready with little effort. I change ammo regularly in it, about every two weeks. .22 will go bad on you with sweat and such invading the cartridge. It does not keep well in use. It also has its feeding problems in most any mouse guy I've hever had chambered in it. I had a Baretta Jet Fire in .22 short that was a complete POS. I sold it. It would jam most rounds no matter how I fiddled with the magazine and it would fail to fire rather often. I'd bought it thinking it was a Beretta, what better gun could you get for mouse duty? One answer, a revolver. LOL! As poor as that Beretta was is as good as the little NAA is. It's the gun I always have even when I don't have a gun. No harder to have along than a good lock blade and a lot more effective at 7.5 yards. I've even taken a couple of rabbits with it at short ranges, about 40 feet.
I have had two cheap .25s. I'm convinced if you want a small auto, get it in .25. Both those guns fed flawlessly. The .25 is built for the purpose and the Winchester with the ball in the nose is as good as any .22lr for defense, IOW, hit the eye socket.
I'm not a big fan of the .32 either. If you can carry a .32, you likely have room for a .380. There are some smaller .32s now days on the Secamp mold, like the NAA Guardian, but I still prefer a .380 for pocket carry. I have a Kel Tec P11 9x19, but it's a little large for jeans pockets. It's an IWB gun, very light and easy to carry.
All just my opinions, but I've been around this road a lot. I've carried mouse guns when carrying guns was a no, no in Texas. I was living by the "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6" philosophy. An RG (used to joke it stood for "real good") .25, about as cheap a POS as ever was built, saved my skin once. I never had to fire it. Sight of the weapon sent the bum running. That gun never jammed or failed to fire, yet it was a pot metal POS, cheap. I sold it, shoulda kept the thing, LOL! I don't care much for cheap striker fired pistols, though. Will only carry one condition three. I'd rather have a DAO or hammer fired gun.
