Driving down the road yesterday. Looked over to see a very large sign on the local lgs.
"Going Out Of Business
10 - 50 Percent Off".
My wife said "You should go and see if they have any good deals".
Got home. My wife again said. " You should go and see if they have any good deals."
THAT'S 2 times she said that. Two times. "MY WIFE SAID I SHOULD GO BUY A NEW GUN". TWO TIMES.
Jumped in the truck. Rushed to the LGS. Jumped from the truck and rushed to the door.
There on the door. Several signs.
THIS STORE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
MY LUCK.

But, But , BuT. She said. She said I could buy a new gun. I heard her say.Unfair.

There, there my friend. Next time she says you can buy a gun or two, always get it in writing first!

A couple of witnesses would be nice to have around too!

From now on you'll be a guy that says "don't gotta tell me twice". Maybe had you listened to your wife the first time..........

Jk.:D But seriously, I'm surprised you didn't lock up the E brake and blow a U-ie across four lanes of traffic and cross the medium as soon as she said it the first time....

Much like shopping at Costco… if it is on the floor and you could use it, buy it.

If you him and haw, go home, think about it, and then wait until tomorrow to go back… its gone.

Every time.

Enablers Unanimous says, Buy it!!

Stay safe.

It was the Shock to my system. I waited so long to hear those words.

In pre-internet days I use to do that at weekend gun shows. See something that draws my interest on Saturday, get whatever info I can get from the books that I have, go back on Sunday only to find that it was sold already.

Lesson learned.

My new motto in compensating for all those missed opportunities: "Got to strike while the iron is hot!"
