Next Bay Area Shoot: polling for dates

Then we'll just leave it to various people to bring assorted foodstuffs. We'll probably bring something, burgers or whatever.
 
anyone passing reasonably close to berkeley?

I can do the trip on my moto, but it means no rifles for me, just pistols.

Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming, I can make it :what: ! Mom has elected of her own free will to celebrate her 78th BD on the 27th. So I'll be there sometime in the morning. Just got done packing the range bag: Glock 30, Browning High Power, SW M66, Ruger Blackhawk, with 200 rounds each of 9mm, .45acp, .38 special, and 50 rounds of .357 magnum I found hiding in back of the gun closet. Yes, I'll be on the pistol range, and wearing a THR name tag on the back of my hat. Really looking forward to a good outing.

I'll be up with a buddy around 1030 I figure; the truck is already loaded up and I'll fill the ice chest tomorrow AM. Decided to just bring 3 ARs and the AK; nothing too fancy. Plenty of plastic bottles for the bustin'

As always, look for the really ugly bright blue Hawaiian shirt. I'll be in it.

Prolly find me at the tin can range.

Atek- sorry brother man, can't make it over to your 'hood. But if you make it down on the motorbike, I have a relatively new keyboard for you.

How was the DROZD? Did it get good range?
 
Ooooh. Tell me about the SU-16! It seems really worthy for 5lbs. How did it shoot? I heard they get really hot after 200 rounds.

Oh, and tell us about the full auto pellet gun. How did that work? I was looking at one of those too...

The DROZD shoots at around 500 fps, so range is limited (perhaps 50 yards) and accuracy???? Fahgedaboudit! Still it is strangely satisfying. Considerably cheaper than shooting a real Class 3- an option you at least have living in Arizona.

It gets about 3-4 mags (90-120 rounds) out of a single CO2 cylinder, so as you can imagine with a bunch of THRers wanting to try it time was spent on reloading. (Also explains why I bought her a box of 25 CO2 cylinders with the gun).

Yeah...I'm a stalker...especially when you have all those cool toys around! Ok if the auto pellet gun isn't accurate I'm out. But what abou the SU16? Did ya try the Kel-Tec? Did ya? Huh? Tell me? Did ya like it? Did ya? Tell me!
 
you live in arizona, why not get an AR? a proven rifle with an insane aftermarket.

SU-16, new, much less support, one of the rare autoloaders still legal in the PRK.
