GEORGIA, GO DAWGS!
I have owned a lot of 9mm's and I believe that the Glock 17 is truly the best. 100% reliability, accuracy, and it's 1/2 the price of a sig or Hk. Your thoughts please.

Browning Hi-Power.

And I didn't even have to say "period," I just typed it, like this.

Here we go:neener:

My favorite 9mm is my 228. Personal preference, but I'd rather spend $200 more for the Sig than a piece of tupperware.

I do have a G19, but I don't care for Glocks. I don't like Mosins either:neener:

True story, I had a 1983 Toyota Camry (first year imported, a true classic), with a finicky starter. In the Walmart parking lot one night, she wouldn't crank. So, not having anything else solid in the vehicle (nope, no spare, no lug wrench), I field stripped the G19, and whacked the starter with the slide:D

She fired right up! No damage to the Tenifer finish, and I'm keeping it because it's the only handgun I own that has saved my butt;)

ETA: I did, however, replace the starter and sell the car.

The perfect 9mm is a custom gun. I like CZ 75Bs but a sphinx 3000 is still a better pistol. Perfection does not include price. For one thing I wouldn't take a glock with plastic sights I would pay more money and get the steel ones or night sights. There are also a lot of people that don't like the glock grip angle and don't want to pay a lot of money to change it or shoot lead reloads without buying a new barrel. Glocks aren't bad pistols but they sure aren't perfect. Glocks don't go off unless you pull the trigger but people still manage to shoot themselves holstering them. They got quirks just like any other design.

Well fanboy Tho i like and carry a 9mm everyday , i do have to say i will carry a ravin .25 , or a jennings .22 before i waste my time on any glock .

I have a Glock 17 (shot it this weekend). I also have a CZ-75. The Glock trigger sucks.

If forced into a choice, I would have to let the Glock go. CZ for me too.

I'm a bit biased.. lol

...

But, both my P229R CT 9mm and my EMP 1911 9mm are perfect in my mind..

I would think the same holds true for any owner of any make as long as it/they bring the :) to his face..

CZ is nice and my favorite is the P226. I also like the XD9
so in order. Sig,CZ & XD9

While I really like my stainless CZ75B, I have to give it up for my Browning Hi Power for accuracy, great single action trigger, simplicity of design and the way it feels in my hand. Though the CZ is easy to point, the BHP points naturally. If I had to get rid of one, though it would be a tough choice, I would have to say goodbye to the CZ. Oh my goodness....I never thought I would ever say anything good or positive about the 9mm round or guns.

I have found that if you commit yourself to the trigger time necessary to master a particular platform, most modern pistols are fine...that said, my Glock, HKs, Berettas are BHP fantastic guns but as a perfect pistol??? I'd probably lean towards the USP 9.

I store my Makarovs right alongside a HK P7.

I'm hoping to wake up one day and find they've spawned the perfect 9mm. All steel, perfect size, etc. Perhaps their progeny will have 15 round mags.

I've never fired the G17, but I have a G19, and it is the best 9mm ever. That's right, ever I said.:D

I like the looks and feel of the Beretta 92FS or M9 the best, but I have to go with the Glock 19 for this contest. Too big of an advantage with the samller size yet equal capacity.

Just my opinion. You're welcome to yours :D
