The lowly LCP. Of all the semis I owned the inexpensive S&W 457s was by far my favorite and best auto for the money by good marigin. It was replaced by S&W 53 because it did not do good job on rabbits, squirrels, woodchucks and crows. The new to me revolver is just better gardener's pest gun.

Here's mine - my fave depends on what I'm currently doing - for long range sessions, the Neos is the easy pick, since I can shoot all day for $15. For 'serious' target shooting, it's the CZ or the Para 1911, since they're both dead-nuts tack drivers, and for SHTF/HD/SD, it's the Taurus PT92, particularly since it's now wearing a light - I hope to never have to use it aside from the annual function tests again, though:

The Rhino is outside the scope of the discussion, but it's easily my most accurate non-.22LR handgun.

Went out yesterday and shot both my Ruger SR9c and my Sig TTT. 400 rounds total. 200 in each. Had a blast!! I used Federal, Remington, Tula (steel), and Winchester in my 9mm .....I used Federal 50 and 100 value packs, Winchester white box (100 rds Personal defense) , and Remington in my Sig. Not a single hiccup in either gun! I am very happy so far.

My Sig .45 had less recoil than I thought it would. Not much more than my 9mm. Love it! It was tough to stop shooting yesterday but I didn't want to blow through all my ammo in one day. :)

BTW... Love the Kimbers Stealth!

Ilikeoldguns,
Where did you find that recoil spring plug?

:D 'EGW', google should send you their way pretty easily. I originally saw one at random, and took a little while to find them myself. Now i'm saving up for another one for the blued 1911 in the photos, I want the same plug, only with "angry eyebrows" kinda like this >: ) lol
They charge an extra $50 for any new designs, but it's a one-time fee, so anyone else wouldn't have to pay the $50 after I have them make that design... anyone wanna split the $50 cost for them adding angry smiley to the available options?? :D

side note- that plug was originally blued with the eyes and smile un-finished (stainless shining through). After a few months of use, the bushing put a nice scratch right through where it rotates, and it just looked like a jumbly mess. So I stripped it with vinegar and filled-in the smiley with a fine-tip sharpie and it looks much better now. i could have ordered it that way dangit! :banghead:

How do you like the Rhino? I had a chance to hold one and was suprised how comfortable it felt despite its "non traditional" apperance.

Walthers are awesome. I just can't get used to that weird mag release.

I'm a pretty big fan of the Rhino, both because it's a hell of a shooter, and because it's quite the conversation starter at the range. :D
