I've said it before -- and I'll say it again: Why should any of us care which celebrities are allegedly "pro gun?"

I'll start caring when and if some of these supposedly pro-gun personalities start using their fame as productive activists for RKBA causes.

The culture of celebrity worship in this country makes me want to puke.

Something is desperately wrong with a society when most of its citizens know more about Brad and Angelina's relationship, Lindsay's drinking problem or Paris Hilton's sex life, than they know about the history and Constitution of their country ... and we're certainly screwed when more people watch Entertainment Tonight and read People Magazine than actually drag their lazy asses to the polls to vote in local and national elections.

Pro gun celebrities? Stop the madness. I don't care.

I’ve heard Les Claypool (Primis) is pro gun. I don’t remember where I heard or read this however.

I know Trey Azagthoth (Morbid Angle) said in an interview that he has a sizeable gun collection and has mentioned he has a Florida CWP and carries a Para Ordnance P12-45.

I'm pretty sure Drew Carey is pro gun. He is incredibly Libertarian and I remember one episode of the Drew Carey show where he parodied the public hysteria over having guns in the house with kids. "Oh my God, Drew, you can't have a gun in the house, there are children!" "Don't worry about, its not loaded." *Drew loads a magazine and racks the slide* "Now it is!" *Drew hands a toy gun that looks exactly the same to one of the kids and places the real gun on the table* "Drew, they can't tell the difference!" *Drew takes the toy gun and the real gun and shuffles them quickly around the table* "Well, now they won't be able to tell whcih one is real."

Although I've never heard anything either way, I have to wonder about Bill Cosby. When his son was murdered, that was the perfect opportunity for him to jump on the Brady bandwagon if he were an anti. But I don't recall that he ever did.

Hard to believe that no one mentioned probably the biggest gunny (after R. Lee Ermey) and that is Gerald McRaney (of Major Dad--I think he is married to Delta Burke). He does a lot of work for NRA and is a BIG gun and 2nd Ad supporter. So is the guy that played Clint Eastwood's brother in the "Any which way but loose" movies. When I got my CCW (for the 2nd time) we watched a video done by both of them about gun safety and practice for defense.

I have the DVD a year and a half in the life of Metallica which features video of James Hetfield duck hunting. He even jokes that he only hunts baby deer.

Also on the some kind of monster dvd he talks about hunting bear in Russia.

Ya'll might not think this si the best choice but... Sonny Barger of Hell's Angels fame is one of the biggest RKBA supporters. I highly recommend "Freedom: Credos from the road" if ya'll want a good book about freedom.

I can't really take into account an actor's stance on gun control when evaluating a movie's merits. If an anti-gun actor wants to make a movie that makes extensive use of guns, that's fine by me as it just more clearly illustrates thier hypocrisy.

But Tom Selleck will always be my hero for battling that useless cow Rosie.
