Not to mention he has a Gibson Explorer guitar with fret inlays of deer skulls.
Awesome. I'm normally not big on custom inlays (I prefer a blank board, usually), but that looks pretty sweet on that Explorer.

Which Brad Johnson are you talking about?
The actor, according to an NRA press release. I'm not sure which one, though.

Keith Richards shot water rats with shotguns in the moat of his home in England and used to carry a 38 special revolver while on tour.
:what: :uhoh:

He was very lucky that he was not so stoned, otherwise he could have ended up shooting Mick Jagger and Bill Wyman,in the process.Drugs and guns,a very dangerous combination, especially for the Rolling Stones.:p :)

After all Keith Richards, wasn't "all there",for most of the time, because like many stars at the time,he was stoned out of his head.:p :)

I have read about what Ozzy Ozbourne did to his first wifes cats, when he came home stoned and tired:he blasted them with a 12guage shotgun.

Glad I didn't know that before, I might not have thought that movie was so great.

It wasn't,it was a piece of overated trash.Too slow, during the middle,Craig didn't act like how Bond acted at all,(Only physically and half-heartedly.)because he wasn't suarve enough and acted too brutish around M and around the leading lady.It is almost like seeing Donald Grant, from the Bond movie,"From Russia With Love",acting as James Bond.Brosnan and Dalton, were much better and we saw how serious Bond could have been from 1989 onwards,in-License To Kill.Anyway, back to the subject:Daniel Craig is a fool,to say that he hates handguns, even by picking up and handling the elegant Walther P99.Even the PPK,had an elegant feel and appearence,to it.

In the late 70s or early 80s while Richards was in England a teenager "staying" at his home with Anita Pallenberg got ahold of his revolver and killed himself with it.

That was when Richards finally got rid of Pallenberg.

While i don't know anything about their personal gun collections or CCW status, both Penn and Teller come off as very strong pro RKBA persons. If you haven't seen it yet, check out their episode of Bulls*it about Gun Control. Highly Recommended.
Also "director" Michael Moore is a lifetime NRA member... so that means he's pro gun to, right? :p

Does anyone know for sure if Sean Penn is an anti. I know he is a large liberal and should not be allowed to carry but has he actually spoken out against private gun ownership?
Don't you remember "Shotgun Sean" after Hurricana Katrina?

NYPostcover09102005.gif
To tell the truth, I have no idea what his position is. He has a CCW in Marin County CA, for what that's worth. But I think the Constitution says even liberals have the RKBA.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure S. Penn believes in the RKB(his own)A, not everyone elses though.

hulk hogan is pro 2a im pretty sure. I vs seen him shoot AR's an uzi and a .50bmg. so im pretty sure hes a believer of the cause. But then again with hollywood who knows.

Robert de Niro has a CCw but i dont think hes pro gun.

Leonid Brehsnev and Pierre Elliott Trudeau were also firearms owners, but like many of the above had long lists of people (most of us would qualify) who should not be allowed to have firearms.

I expect many of those posting have their own lists of who should not be allowed to carry a pistol for protection. My own is fairly short. Actually, it's non-existent.

My first post...

Bruce Cockburn, left wing Canadian singer songwriter is pro gun and shoots mainly handguns. You might remember his song 'if I had a rocket launcher'

When I hear some celebrity spouting off about how guns should be banned, I always think to myself "You're an actor. Why exactly should anyone be interested in your opinion?"

So if I didn't have the same reaction when a celebrity turns out to be pro-gun, that'd make me pretty hypocritical, wouldn't it?

I'll add one. Not so much a celebrity but definitely respected in Hollywood and in literary circles.

David Mamet.

I'm reading his book about self-hating Jews, and there's a tiny chapter on how these self-haters are universally gun bigots because they're terrified of being responsible for anything. Also, in "The Unit", in an ep called "Unannounced", he basically slotted in a totally pro-gun B-story.

Scott Foley's wife packs in her purse (at his urging), which scares the mangina at the radio station where she works. Later, a creep gets her alone in the booth with her gun outside the room, and that same mangina cowboys up, takes her gun, and scares the guy off with it.

I was dumbfounded. They actually aired that on CBS in prime time.

How strange,it seems that this Canadian is a Democrat or a New Labour type of supporter and he loves shooting handguns. It's funny that his fellow lefties in the Uk,despise handguns and the sporting disciplines, that accompany it.On the other hand the righties, like their guns.If only new Labour wern't so full of their anti crap,at all.

Many of the pro wrestlers are pro gun. There are more pro gun folks in that business than there are antis.

While probably no longer a celeb, one of the Mandrell Sisters was/is a world class shooter. I believe she qualified for the Olympics in skeet or trap.

Ian Fleming was definitly Not ProGun.

Robert Stack of the old Untouchables and later the unsolved Mystries show was also a olympic level shooter.

Kent Hrbek, Former 1st baseman for the Minnesota twins has a very good Regional (Minnesota, Wisc, N&S Dakota) Hunting and fishing show. He was a phenomenal athlete and is a VERY good shot.

Many pro hockey players are very big in waterfowl hunting, I have seen several out on off days.

Bo Jackson, Maybe the best athlete of the 20th century, had a very good hunting show for a few years, I know his hip has limited his ability to walk on rough ground and that may have stopped the show.

Bud Grant, who took the Vikings to four Superbowls, is a HUGE hunter. He would rather hunt or fish than anything else.

Does anyone else remember the TV show "American Sportsman" which was a spring time and summer show on ABC tv for years and years and featured both celebs and business leaders on hunts and fishing trips. Many many stars were on that show.

Anthony Cumia of the Opie and Anthony radio show. He is collector too and has a number of WWII rifles and pistols. Here he is with a couple of newer firearms.

Did I read somewhere that Eva Longoria (Desperate Houswives), being a fine young Texas gal, is a crack shot and goes on an annual hog hunt with her husband to put on a Thanksgiving BBQ?

If so, I think I'm more deeply in love than ever (depending on how good a shot the husband is, of course...).

Well, start your love affair. Eva is definitely pro-gun, pro-hunting! I've heard her talk about hunting and target shooting with her Dad on some talk show.

She talked openly about hunting on the Oprah Winfrey show, which prompted the folks at PETA to suggest that she go hunting with VP Cheney to experience the pain animals feel.
