We had a great day on Friday dusting some skeet down by the great salt lake. I took my oldest daughter (16) and we had a good time. She has never had much interest but was delighted when she hit a few and she is aching to go again.
It is a great place to shoot because folks have not caught on that it is legal to do it there just a few hundred yards from the causeway to antelope island. The city code stipulates that it must be 600 feet from the road and 600 feet from the water. Normally, the water is too high or it is so marshy that it isn't worth the effort. The last couple of bad drought years have given us this as one positive note.
