I've heard great things about the Remington "green box" which not the UMC.
remington green box is UMC--same garbage.
The allegedly good Remington stuff "green box" is numbered R9MM3 (115gr) and R9MM2 (124gr) and it is not UMC. The box is yellow and green. I do not have any to take a pic.
For defensive use against animals in the woods. I need the most premium 9mm FMJ. Not the cheap stuff.Sorry, but best for what purpose? Punching clean holes in paper? Highest velocity? Best at low recoil? What exactly are you wanting to do with it?

What kind of animals? For defensive use against animals in the woods.
What kind of animals?
For run-of-the-mill gophers, coyotes, wild dogs, possems, and skunks, even an occasional couger, a good JHP is far better then FMJ.
If it's bigger or tougher then a couger, you need a bigger gun!
And anyway, the most dangerous animal in the woods is walking on two legs and wearing a wife-beater t-shirt!
Again, JHP is far superior to FMJ for that use too.
