The brady bunch myspace site has recently been hacked. I'm pretty sure this isn't legit.Hawk said:
I'm one of those that questions the authenticity of the Brady MySpace page. Looks more like the personal page of a male, 27 year old, California fanboy than anything one might expect from a politically savvy D.C. gun-grabber group.
Alongside the track, more like, so as to shoot chunks out of the wheels. That might remove enough of the flange on a wheel that it wouldn't stay on the rail properly, but it could also end up with a flat side that just slides along the head of the rail. Then there are at least seven other wheels on the car, with their flanges happily inside the gauge. Now, now. I'd imagine that if you position a Barrett just right on the tracks you could probably do it.

Those would be the nuke tipped ones. They're expensive but worth it.Dang what kind of bullets do I have to load up my .50bmg with to de-rail train cars???? ---garrett1955
100 X "Evil Eye" Sniper Scope!
Sinister Bipod of Death!
The Rifle Sling of Doom!
Choose between the "Black Plague" Polymer Stock or the Wooden stock with "Extremely Naughty" varnish!
One thing I like doing is asking them which rifle looks more dangerous, my AR or my single shot 45-70 Encore. Obviosly the black rifle looks more dangerous, then I show them the rounds they fire and the expression on their face at the size of the 45-70 is priceless.

Even Remington's top gun writer agrees on Assault Weapons
With important writers such as this on our side, it is clear that we have a cultural imperative to remove dangerous terrorist rifles from our streets, and our woods.
Jim Zumbo is a writer for the prestigious Outdoor Life magazine and represents the views of America's true sportsmen. He is also sponsored by Remington.

That is disturbing. Her profile is listed as sixteen and you look like a child molester. Sorry, our blog comments are not a singles pick-up area.

along with the powerful gun lobby that wants your children and your law enforcement officers to be at risk from these weapons of mass destruction.
the 30.30 caliber, was responsible for penetrating three officers' armor ...also capable of puncturing light-armored vehicles, ballistic or armored glass, armored limousines
even a 600-pound safe with 600 pounds of safe armor plating
Sniper Rifles can be equipped with precision optics above even what the Military uses
enabling them to engage targets at distances of well over one hundred meters.
Is there a pressing need to be able to kill with accuracy at that distance?
Designed for distance shooting, they are useless for the ranges at which game animals are normally shot, and when used on sporting sized game at range they often just wound the animal, inhumanely forcing it to die slowly while the would-be hunter tracks it to finish it off.
Large caliber Sniper Rifles such as the .50 Browning Machine Gun can derail freight cars, shoot down aircraft and helicopters, damage vital ground equipment such as power substations
Yeah, sorry I was slow on the uptake there. (Psst . . . Hey, I was trying to outsmart the bad guys. See, once the Brady Bunch has banned all the ammo and other stuff that "has no sporting purpose and is nothing but the weapon of choice for drug dealers blah blah blah," then the gangsters will have no choice but to lay their .75 cal. Sniper Machine Gun on the track in order to derail a train and rob it. And that might work! )I meant the act of the train hitting the weapon itself might do the job. It was a joke about how big and heavy they are. Of course, it's not so funny if you have to explain it.
That's a relief. Clueless people shouldn't reproduce, anyway. And I think the blogger's picture is next to "clueless" in the dictionary. The best part about the Brady bunchs myspace site is under the part where it asks about kids it says...
I DON'T WANT KIDS.
The "sniper rifle" can defeat body armor, bullet proof glass and up armored Humvees, but it only wounds animals?
"They are too big and heavy to take to the field. Designed for distance shooting, they are useless for the ranges at which game animals are normally shot, and when used on sporting sized game at range they often just wound the animal, inhumanely forcing it to die slowly while the would-be hunter tracks it to finish it off. "
Maybe our soldiers and Marines need to go into combat with a deer draped over their bodies in order to defeat the dreaded sniper rifle.
hunting usage should not be used as an argument for civilians to own such firearms and weapons
