You can always mail it.Not a big deal unless you can't make it within the deadline for whatever reason.

Years ago I had a Michigan concealed carry permit when it was easy to get. Simply got to the Sheriffs Dept., do a little paper work and walk out with your permit.
I forgot to renew mine one time. I called the local State Police. The officer that answered the phone told me I could not even take the pistol out of the house with out a CWP. I told him he needed to go back to school as I new better than that. Sadly I was not friends with his commander at that time, like I had been with those before this one took over, or he would have been in trouble.
I went to see my Sherriff friend and got the right information.
The FFL should have filled out 3 copies of the MI RI-060. One for you to keep, one for you to take to the local PD within 10 days, and one for him to keep.
That's the form this entire thread is about.
Why have to do it at all. An FFL could just as easily submit the information while the BGC is being done. You can always mail it.
True...but that's not how the game is played at the moment. Currently it's their game...their rules. There is a constant ongoing effort on many fronts to change the rules of the game. Why have to do it at all. An FFL could just as easily submit the information while the BGC is being done.
