I was surprised when I added up my guns to see which caliber I had the most of. I figured the old standard of a .22 would be it. Turns out it's a tie for me with .22 and .357 being the same. Guess I have a soft spot for .357's as well. So what caliber do you have the most guns in? You might get surprised too.

Forty five.

One for carry.
One for ranged / suppressed use.

Twenty two.

Two pistols and one rifle.

Range / suppressed use only.

When it gets here (I freaking hate waiting but its only been a few days) it will be 7mm.08. I have 3 in bolt, 2 in Single shot, and one coming in Semi AR10.

At the moment its all even, in 7 days more days (stupid CA laws) it will be 22LR currently have a Mossberg 702 Plinkster, will be picking up a GSG 5 rifle and GSG 522 PK pistol.

32's

about 15 years ago the old originals could be had in vg condition quite inexpensive--

today they are 3x the price for lesser quality.
32 S&W long or short break tops and than the 32acp.
it was affordable to buy almost one or every model through wwll

7.62 (.30) dispersed over a pretty wide variety of cartridges (.30-06, 7.62x54r, 7.62x39, 7.62x25, 7.62x38r).

It's a tie thereafter with 2 each in .45 (both acp), .22lr, and 8mm (7.92x57 and 8x56r). Maybe there's a slight edge to .22 as my 5.45x39 rifle also gets cleaned with the .22 bore snake, though not technically .22 caliber).

It has to be the 30-06. I got into the CMP Garands a few years back. Let me see, it started out as trying to get each of the 4 manufacturers, then extras, then the M1D, then the HRA Collector grade, ...

M1 Garands, 1917, 1903A3, and deer rifle = more than 20 rifles.

I don't regret a single purchase either.

Five "7.62's".

Two Type 56 carbines, two .303 Lee Enfields, and one M-39. I was kind of hoping that the M-39 would shoot .308 bullets for the variety but its' a very solid .310-.311.

Depends what you mean by caliber:
Three .357 Magnums, plus another .38 Special. And quite a few other assorted .380, 9x18, 9x19, and .38S&W, but I don't know if those count or not.

Also have about four .30 calibers, but each one takes a different cartridge.

Two .22's, a .41, and a .45. I think that might be it but I'm not sure. Shotguns are conspicuously absent; I need to take care of that.
