What do YOU carry, and exactly how often do you carry it?

All day, every day

Well, I use to carry a 1991A1 Colt Commander, .45acp, in a belt holster,
every day, except when I was at work.It did get heavy.

Since I retired & we moved out here, in the Country, a couple 3 years ago,
I switched to a Ruger SP101, 2 1/4", .357 mag. I don't think it's a "mousegun"
though. It'll cut a copperhead snake in two. I can make a running coyote jump, at 30 'r 40 yards. Or knock him over if he's much closer

I carry it in a Galco pancake, high-ride Belt holster, all day, every day, unless
I'm out on the farm, running the chainsaw, driving the tractor, messing with
stock. Then, it is in an Uncle Mike's Super Belt-slide. Not as nice a holster but it's okay, if it gets dirty or muddy.

I put it on when I dress in the morning, take it off when I undress, at night.
Not much good to me laying in the house.
Life is good!

Only when I'm awake and dressed.

A J-frame .38 or 9mm - ALWAYS

A 3-inch K-frame .357 or 9mm - Sometimes

A .45 LWC or Glock 19, - Occasionally

carry

I tried the full size 1911 and like others found it difficult to properly conceal in hot weather. Can't carry at work, but always when out and about. Carried a Colt Govt model 380 with alum frame for years because it worked just like the govt. model, and concealed well. Found it was worth over twice what I bought it for so into the safe, and bought a Taurus PT145 and it is great for carry with a belt slide. My new favorite. Works great right out of the box and never had a problem even with wolf ammo. Darn thing even had the feed ramp micro polished from the factory. Nice to have 1+10 instead of 7 or 8. Another good point is that it feels like my 1911 and is quicker to get back on target. My 2 cents worth.

While on my soap box, I forgot to state what I carry, hehe.
S&W M19 2.5-inch .357 Magnum with one speedloader, or
FN Browning Hi-Power, 17-round clip in place, 17-round clip in pocket.
I never carry both at once.

I carry any and all of these... Kel-tec P32, Kel-tec P11 and S&W 6946 (the P11 and 6946 use the same mags). Every day at least a combo of two of these and sometimes 3.

My EDC is my Seecamp LWS380 loaded with DPX. It's riding in a RJ Hedley Back Pocket Holster as I type.

Carry

A little late on this discussion, however I ALWAYS carry when permitted by law, even in my own home my weapon is on my person or at hand's length, after all that is the point. I'm good in quite a few states. Of late I find myself carrying my Taurus PT 745. Hard to find I guess, but it is a 45 and very light and easy to carry. My most comfortable is my Kimber Ultra Carry II 40, and I love my SA XD40 Sub, I also have a Kel-Tec P11, S&W 915, among others, and just bought a Taurus 1911 (nice gun), but the question was what do I carry and that is the 745, light, knockdown, ease of utilization. Oh, I should mention, being in a more restrictive state, I utilize mostly paddle holsters, predominately fobus but also desantis, and that figures in

I carry a Full Size USP in .40 S&W. I carry it all the time except in my office. As soon as I get a pocket gun, I'll be carrying there too. Luckily, we do not have any company policies regarding weapons at work.

Can't carry at work but I do carry everywhere else. Full size 1911 .45 IWB all year.. No problems at after the first 2 weeks I found the right possition to carry her. I also carry a J frame .38 from time to time as a backup....

I carry a P3AT M-F, 8:30-5:00 in my right front pocket. My G26 with a 33rd mag sits in my briefcase, as well as a few extra mags. I am usually at my desk with the 26 in easy reach. The P3AT is for when I walk up front to tell the secretary to mail this or that. When not at work, I always have the G26 on me with a few spare mags. I've been considering changing to the 1911 platform for briefcase/off the clock carry time.

what i carry

i carry a p10-40 if i'm not in the bed, and then it sits on the bedside table. 11 rounds of hornady TAP 180 gr. will do the trick on just about anything from badguys to coyotes. luckily i live in texas where i'm alowed to carry almost everywhere that i feel the urge

Good Luck.

i carry about 5 days a week i would say. and especially if i am traveling. in the cold months were heavy clothes is a must i carry, my xd service model. and after x-mas that will be in a shoulder holster. in the warmer months i carry a kahr k-40, and now since i got my xd sc i will be carrying it almost all the time, unless all i am wearing is a t-shirt, then i will resort to the kahr again.

Everywhere but at work, all the time. Colt LW Commander and a reload most of the time.

Browning HP or one of the Colt .380's the rest of the time.

I carry a cz52 all day every day in a IWB holster with 100 gr Hornady XTP's from Reeds.

I carry my duo tone Colt LW Commander in a MiltSparks IWB summer special with the Sparks IWB double mag holder. Sometimes Ifeel the urge to carry my fullsize 1911 Colt/Essex in a a galco IWB or a Don Hume JIT, but I just got a bladetech IWB im gonna give a try. I carry almost all the time usally I have it on me around the house as well. I have two 5.11 vest (Khaki and Digital desert--green is next) that I will wear from time to time, because they have lots of pockets to keep things in like Oakleys, Surfire, Extra Mags etc.... I know alot of people dont like to wear them because it puts a poster on you that says im carrying but hey I see it as a crime deterent. Now what ever he "was" thinking he is rethinking. But anyway Here is the hardware:

When not on the job I carry often--hate to find myself in a situation where I'd need it and not have it. Running errends, I generally leave it at home. Unless I'm going to the 7-11, in which case I make sure to also bring reloads.

G 30

I carry my G 30 .45 almost every day in an IW holster. Rarely, if IW carry is not an option I'll carry my P-11 in a front pocket. My P3AT is usually a pocket BUG, but occaisionally a primary pocket.

Larger guns can be carried almost all the time. I live in FL, and the G 30 disappears under a polo or t-shirt in an IW holster for me.

I'm 5'5" tall and always carry a 1911. Normally it's a Bobtailed Smith & Wesson Scandium Commander alternating with a Kimber Ultra Carry II in my pocket. My back up is a full size Springfield GI-45. I can carry all of them, all .45 ACP's, very comfortably Inside Waist Band (IWB). The key is in the holster and belt. I use Gary Brommeland www.brommelandgunleather.com Max Con V's for IWB and a Sam Andrews www.andrewsleather.com pocket holster.
