Most often: Sig P232 with an extra magazine. This one offers excellent concealment, has nights sights and is the best point shooter I've ever found. Loaded with Federal American Eagle 95 gr FMJ.

Sometimes: HK P2000SK (9mm) with an extra mag when I feel like carrying a little more than a .380. Loaded with 147 gr Federal Hydrashoks.

If it's "chilly" I carry a Ruger P90 (.45 ACP) under my coat with two extra mags. Loaded with 230 gr Federal Hydrashoks.

For late nights trips to the store, when I don't feel like bothering with a "real" holster, I slip my Taurus 605 (.357 mag) into a pocket holster with a speedloader in the other pocket. I load it with Speer's short-barrel Gold Dot hollowpoints. Don't remember how many grains, but I believe it's 135.

Pretty soon, when I purchase a Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail, I'll be using it in place of the Ruger, which will be placed on range duty.

What do you carry?

I carry what fits me, something that has had a variety of ammunition run through the gun and magazines to check for reliability, POA/POI, in regard to sights.

Two hundred rounds of any loading that might be used in serious situations, chosen from initial shooting and all.

Make, models and calibers of these semi-auto and revolvers - are not really that important to anyone - except me.

I carry a 38 snub taurus 85 w/no hammer.I have been working on my other 38 snub, had a mainspring problem and would not fire everytime,just shot it today I think I fixed it,it fired every time,need to shoot more before I can trust it.Looking to buy a kel tec .380 but don't know how reliable they are.I have two other guns too BIG for carry.

JesseL mentioned he carries a Daewoo DH40. I will soon be carrying pretty much the same gun, but in 9mm instead of 40S&W. My girlfriend just surprised me with the Daewoo DP51 I've had my eye on.
