If we were allowed to carry in Illinois, I would carry an HK P2000sk with an LEM trigger, night sights, and in .40 S&W. And 2 spare 12 round magazines to back it up as well as balance the weight on my weakside.
Probably a good pocket knife such as a Boker. And a Surefire flashlight. My cell phone and my wallet would also be carried as well.
Bix, I'm 5'2" and have no problem with it. If you love the USPc, have you got a chance to handle the P30? That thing quite possibly has the perfect grip (for me anyway).
IWB at 4 o'clock sig 239 in 40 165 gr hp , winter 3rd gen pt145 230 gr ball. BUG left vest /winter coat pocket 642 158 gr silvertips. a benchmade or gerber at 3 o'clock.walk the dog p3at or p11.
In an Uncle Mike's sidekick shoulder rig, my Stoeger Cougar 8000 9mm with 15+1 and 1 extra balancing 15 rd. mag. 31 rds. there.
On the strong side owb in a Kramer horsehide is my newest pal resting between 3:00 and 4:00. It's a S&W M&P 40c with 10+1 and two extra 10 rd. mags in a hip pocket or belt pouch. 31 rds. there.
Lastly, but far from least is my ever present S&W j-frame 642 .38 sp in her brand new Robert Mika pocket holster. Five plus two speedloaders=15 rds.
So, if I were to make it a practice to carry all three together,(I have on maybe two or three occasions), I'd be totin' 77 rounds of Federal Hydra-Shoks
I still firmly believe in the Boy Scout motto.

Last Saturday afternoon, I was pumping fuel down at the corner market when a bro walked up and said gim me yo monee. I whipped out my LAWS Rocket and gently squeezed the trigger. As that thing went sailing by him he grab a hold thinking it was my money. Unfortunatly for him he got the tail fins and hasn't been seen since. Whew what a ride!!!
Oh! I forgot to add that I was pumping fuel into my M1A1 Abrams.
