What gun in your collection has been fired the most?

Ruger P95DC.

Cheap to shoot, accurate and fits me like a glove. If I go to the range and only take one gun it's almost always the P95

I've fired more rounds from my 1978 High Standard Trophy than any other. Until this past week, it was my oldest gun; it's also the only one that's never failed to feed, failed to fire, failed to extract, or given me any grief.

My 1st 10-22 has the most rounds fired. 10's of thousands of rounds.

Followed by my Ruger P95. I'm some where around 15,000 rounds with that one.

I have a feeling The SAR-1 will be taking over the most fired title this summer though.

I'm sure my Mark IV has the most through it as I was shooting 3-400 rounds a week with it at one time. (1992-3) It probably has between 10 and 20,000 rounds through it and still wears the same Centaur Systems barrel, and still shoots even better than my Kimber Ultra CDP.

Second would be a pair of Ruger .22s. As was said: cheap fun. Fun to the tune of at least 100 rounds a session.

Shotgun work

My BERETTA DT10 Sporting...I kept count till the 125,000 round mark, which I reached last summer. BERETTA asked to see the gun, since it had more rounds through it than any DT10 in North America at that point. After stripping and inspecting the action, they replaced a coulple of springs, and the locking bolt[since they were "inside", it didn't really need it]. They performed the service for free since they asked to see it, but said that if it had been a customer that regularly sent it in, the bill would have been about $70.

125,000 rounds of 12 ga target loads in 3 years, and it costs $70 worth of replacement parts.......I could live with that;) It was a cold winter, so I think I'm only at around 135,000 rounds now, and it doing fine.

As far as pistols go, the handgun that I still own that probally has the most rounds through it is my WILSON STEALTH, .45 acp carry gun originally built in '95 on a Springfield Armory Lightweight Compact. At around 5 thousand rounds[thats alot for a carrygun] I discorvered[during cleaning, it wasn't malfunctioning] that the alloy frame was cracked in 3[!] places. I contacted WILSON, and they asked me to send it in. Upon inspection, the notified me that they were willing to cover the frame under their warranty[it wasn't their gun, it was a SPRINGFIELD I sent them to work on!], and they replaced the frame, checkering and all, rebuilt all the insides with my old hammer, sear, etc, and refit the entire gun, for FREE!.

Since then['00] I have fired approx. another 1500 rounds throught the gun, and the WILSON alloy frame is holding up MUCH better than the SPRINGFIELD.

I have owned competition pistols in the past that I have shot more[alot more], but nothing I ever felt "attached to" like my STEALTH.

The rifle that I shot the most was certainly the Clark 10/22 that I shot Chevy Team Challange with for 4 years. The same rifle took me from starting[92] to winning the national championships["96] .....I REMEMBER buying 7 cases[5000 cases] of .22 cal ammo. I have NO IDEA how much ammo that rifle actually shot, but it won me $$$$$ every year at TEAM CHALLANGE. In '98, when all I could think about was Sportingclays, I sold that rifle to pay for a trip to some shoot. I REALLY wish I still had it:rolleyes:

The rifle that I still own that i have shoot the most is probally my favorite big game rifle, my old Pre-64 M70 30/06. I've been hunting/shooting it since '80.....its the rifle that I certainly have the most confidence in,....and it on its second barrel.

The most common thing I hear from gun owners is that they wish they shot more often........I don't want to die with REGRETS!

EAA Witness, 45ACP, fired over 40,000 rounds before it broke an extractor and needed repair. EAA fixed it (10 day turn around) for free and also replaced the sear, hammer, and springs. EAA's gunsmith thought I had polished the sear and hammer being it was worn so smoooooth. It still shoots great as will be seen in the March MIM target.

7000 +/- rounds through my Beretta 92FS. Two failures to extract with Blazer aluminum-cased ammo. Otherwise zip.

My M1 Garand follows a distant second, with about 500 rounds through it.

I've got a Remington model 513-T that my grandfather gave me. He bought it in 1946, it was his favorite for years and years, I've put at least 5k through it in the 10 years it's been mine, lord only knows how many he did.

Old model 17 S&W,at least a case per year for the last 20 years, thats 5,000 round cases & a few years much more than that.
This gun has more than 100,000 rounds & still shoots fine . The only failure was a broken rebound spring at about 90,000 rouns.

Dang I wish they would build a good gun!:banghead: :D :D :D

I tend to obsess about a gun, and keep shooting it until I think it can't be shot any better. Thus, I've been shooting the Kimber almost exclusively for four years, with somewhere between 12,000 and 15,000 rounds fired. Still don't have it down, though. ;)
