Lately I've had two simultaneous carry guns - .380 Ruger LCP and .38 Special Smith and Wesson model 36. Not uncomfortable to carry at all...though the extra ammo for the two guns can put a little more strain on my suspenders. ;)

.40 S&W 165 gr. HST Sig p229 transitioning to Sig M11A1 9mm. 147 gr. +P HST Tactical I've have two of the .40's and the triggers are great, greater-then-great but I love that the M11A1 has a few more rds and phosphate coating. I can hit a little better with the 9mm as well.

My primary carry is either a 38 spl or a 45 acp. Today it just happens to be the 45. But I always carry a BUG, it's either a 22 Magnum or more likely a 380 acp.

So I voted 380.

No multiple choice?
I carry .22 lr , 9x18 Makarov, 38 spl. 9x19 luger, 357 Mag. 44spl. and 45 acp.
Depending on the condition.

I really wanted 3 votes. I split pretty evenly between the 9mm and the 38/357 options. I generally carry 38spcl in the LCR, but sometimes 357's. I also have been carrying the LCRx in 9mm a lot lately. Sometimes it's the LC9s or the Glock 26 though. Too many options, too few buttons up top I could choose.

Street concealed = .38 special in Airweight S&W Outdoors, fishing, hiking and general messing around including country drives = .45 ACP in CS 1911

S&W, J frame model 638 in 38 special most of the time. I have a 9mm Shield, LCP, SR9c, SP101 and a couple others I could and have carried, but 90% of the time its the J frame

I've got several EDC guns that I carry depending on what I want that day. Of the three calibers my EDCs cover (9mmP, .357mag, and .45ACP), I probably currently carry the 9mmP (in the form of a Glock 19 IWB or a Ruger LC9s in my pocket) the most.

I find myself more likely to need to take a shot at a feral pig or water moccasin than a two legged critter anymore so my 44 magnum is generally the pistol I have out of the safe. I try my best to remember to swap the cci shotshell out for a hollow point when I make the occasional quick trip to town.
If I have the need to go anywhere that has much of a crime rate I take the 10mm Glock.

20180317_202943.jpg 45.acp, Hornady Critical Defense. Every day, for the last two years, give or take a few months. Before that a double stack 9mm. Believe it or not the 1911 is easier for me to carry.

Interesting how much variety there is amongst the caliber and pistols that everyone carries. I live in the suburbs so I don’t really have animals or snakes to shoot, which leaves two legged vermin as my main threat. I usually carry a 9mm SW Shield aiwb in a sidecar rig because it’s so convenient. If I have some sort of unusual activity I switch to a 9mm Glock 19. I carry that strong side, about half and half iwb and owb.

In the summer I carry the shield about 90% of the time and in the spring, fall, and winter I carry the Glock about 90% of the time - pretty much any time I have a sweatshirt, coat, or shirt with buttons.

What I am finding interesting here, is that for all it is derided, the .380 is the second most popular. That is what I carry, in a Glock 42, but I didn't expect it to be as popular as it is.

Currently, I am most likely to carry a .357 Magnum, revolver. Second most-likely is a .38 Special revolver. I may soon revert to .45 ACP, if/when I sort-out the holster equation. (My long-established favorite 1911 concealment holsters no longer allow a timely presentation of the weapon, due to less freedom of movement in my aging shoulders. Lower-riding holsters solve the one problem, but are less concealable, unless I wear a longer upper garment, and well, it is HOT in Texas, in the summer.)

Guess I'm really in the minority. However that being said, I'm a Corrections Officer and only have a 20 minute commute. On my days off I spend it mostly at the farm and the 22 suits my current needs

Although I have carried everything from an RG25 through an M1911, I always seem to have the 25 ACP pistol with me when resorting to deadly force becomes a consideration.
