I was hoping you'd drop by to share your experience with high end pistolsIf we're strictly discussing mechanical accuracy, a Swiss P210 is going to be hard to beat. Test targets are routinely 1-1.5" groups with a full 10 shots at 50 meters, which is about 55 yards. I don't know any other 9mm handgun that will beat that. There may be close close or maybe even equal, but that's difficult to beat.
Now, practical accuracy is generally a little different, as the sights, sight radius, trigger, ergonomics, etc can all play a factor. Lots of target/competition pistols are extremely accurate. I'm fortunate enough to own them and can attest to this.
NoThe most accurate handgun is dependent upon the competency of the marksman operator.
No
The most accurate handgun is the one that shoots the best from a ransom rest. The thread is about the accuracy of the handgun, not the shooter.
I think most people realize the shooter is the biggest variable.
now I'm wondering how accurate the most accurate single shot pistol is.
I assume you meant “moot” pointWith out the shooter the accuracy of the handgun is a mute point
No it isn’t a “mute” pointWith out the shooter the accuracy of the handgun is a mute point
True, but some make it much easier than others. The most accurate handgun is dependent upon the competency of the marksman operator.
