I'm well aware that we have quite a few individuals here who shoot 1/4" groups at a hundred yards but in my world 7 yards is the new 25.

Gonna agree with this.Then the question should have been: "Which of your 9mm pistols do you shoot the best?"
I'm just gonna disagree here with this, having been issued, and instructed on/with the USP for several years. No knock on the reliability or durability of the USP, but our factory Berettas were noticeably more accurate.The H&K USP is supposed to have very high mechanical accuracy.
iron sights (not that they matter with a machine rest but they do if I am holding it).
