My favorite in the semi auto is the Browning SA22 with a Leupold mount and Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35 Rimfire scope. very accurate! RC Model highly recommended that I obtain a SA-22 for my nutria hunting! I am very glad he suggested this model.

My favorite pump is the model 572 Rem with a Leupold 1x4 shotgun scope. very fast on target!
I have killed literally hundreds of nutria with these 2 rifles. I carry both models with me and use the 572 for close shots and the SA22 for the longer 40yd + shots. I wore out the 572 and it had to make a trip to Remington at Ilion, NY recently to get freshened up! this was done at no charge by Big Green!!

My favorite ammo is CCI mini mag hollow points. this ammo is reliable, accurate and powerful.

I own 3- 572s and 2- Browning SA22s. I like redundancy in my gun cabinet.

10/22. The blue one is mine and the red one is one I put together for my father. This pick is about 5 years old and my son in the pic loves shooting them both. red_blue1022%252BBen.JPG

If I've only got one shot ... my CMP H&R M512

Otherwise ... my CMMG 22LR PDW upper on my M16

CZ 455. Had it out a few days ago at the range. Accuracy always amazes me.

I never was much of a 22 shooter but I'm rethinking this whole thing. I have a very old MKII target that I bought in 1990. I have maybe 100 rds thru it since I bought it. Yesterday I purchased a Vortec dot for it and sent it to Ruger for a rail install. It's so old it wasn't tapped for a scope. Now I'm going to get some competition going with my neighbor who just bought a MKIV with a dot. Should be a truck load of fun.

The Burris mount that replaces the rear sight and a Fast Fire III make for a sleek slick dot sight option on a MK pistol

FF3 is a great sight, I have two of those. One was on a SIG522 and will go on my next .22, and the other is in a Burris flat-top mount on a BR99 shotgun.

"Favorite" doesn't have to mean anything more than a subjective preference, so I agree with America - the Marlin 60. Despite impressive efforts by the 10/22, the Marlin 60 remains to be the highest selling consumer firearm model of all time.

Another vote from "The Silent Majority" - Marlin Model 60.
Varminterror said it all.
Best bang for the buck and fun to shoot also.

Favorite and sentimental for me is my Marlin 60 i got for Christmas when I was 10. Still shoots lights out.

My favorite is a very old Mossberg 26b. It was my Dad's gun that he bought just after the end of WWII. From what I understand, they used them as training rifles for some of our soldiers. I found it in storage when I was a kid and it was my first rabbit hunting rifle.

A couple of years ago, I found it again and spent a great deal of time and effort re-finishing it. I spent quite a bit of time sending PMs back and forth with RC getting some direction on getting parts etc. It is a worthless gun money-wise but my favorite show piece. I have a lot of .22s but it is, hands-down, my favorite.

Henry H001T - longish octogonal barrel, nice trigger, pretty wood & finish. Old school cool, I guess. I dont think another of my .22 rifles has even seen the light of day since it came home with me.

I agree with ifit: CZ452 with full stock. Amazingly accurate, even with me using the standard rear sight. BTW, the long magazine holds 10 rounds, the standard magazine carries 5.

A JnP peep in place of the notched rear sight blade on a 452 is huge improvement. A set of BRNO match sights takes it to the next level.
