Another vote for a M1 Garand.
I love to shoot my 1945 Sprinfield M1.

My second favorite rifle is my Inland 1945 M1 Carbine.

Both bring a smile to my face when I shoot them but I get extra giddy when I hear the PINNNG of an clip ejecting from my Garand.

You know I have never really thought about it. I own alot of firearms, mostly rifles and I can't bring myself to choose. I'll think about it and get back with ya.

Norinco Type 56S AK-47.

I bought it in California about 20 years ago before they went commie and banned them. It came with 3 30 round mags, sling, cleaning kit, and bayonet, has a chrome lined barrel, stainless bolt, gas piston, etc. all for about $350 NIB.

I have several, from a beat up old Gelnfield 22lr bolt up to a Weatherby 30-06. But the one I enjoy the most is a Marlin 882s bolt action 22 magnum with a 4x scope. It's light, shoots very nicely, has no recoil, and the 22 mags will reach out past 100 yards.

Man,
I love seeing the pictures you all post on these type threads. No pictures here, but my favorite is one I still have:
Weatherby Mark V 7mm Weatherby mag in an H.S. Precision stock with Zeiss Compact 4.5-14x44mm scope.
It is heavy but very accurate and not as hard kicking as some others in its class. It will never be sold. When I am too old to shoot anymore, my son will get it.

She's my very own model 60, just like the one I learned to shoot when I was a kid. 140 bucks at Walmart and it is the bees knees!

My favorite rifle is either of my Swedish Mausers. One is a rifle, one is a carbine. I have better/newer/other rifles, and I want to love them more, but the simplicity and accuracy of those Mausers, combined with their soft-shooting characteristics make them awfully hard to beat.

My second favorite rifle is quickly becoming my Marlin 39. My 10/22 is probably a touch more accurate (although I am splitting hairs there), but as my buddy says, the 39 is man-sized. I really enjoy shooting that rifle!

My favorite to shoot is my K31. If I had to choose between my Mausers and it, the Mausers would win every time, but that straight-pull action is perversely fun to shoot.

O OO ME LIKEYYYY THAT RIFLE MR Travis bickle. TELL ME MORE

It's a Springfield Armory IMBEL FAL. Stock barrel was 18", but I had the stock barrel taken off and a full-length barrel put on. It's also a pre-1989 import, so I don't ever have to worry about the stupid US parts requirement. :D

It would have to be my Rem. Mod. 7400 in .270win. just because I have a lot of confidence with it. With the right loads I feel I can hit and kill anything I need to with it.
